In addition, elective abortions should be provided at ALL hospitals that receive public funding, all bogus counseling requirements and waiting periods eliminated, and ideally the procedure should be subsidized. Those requirements would help women who want an abortion to obtain one quickly and safely. I’d also like to see birth control pills provided over the counter. There’s no need for a doctor’s visit and prescription. [/quote]
