Maybe you need to tell Cornell people to get their act together. For no other reason than its chance affiliation with the Ivy League, many of them got their heads buried in their assets.

Once again for those in the back of the room hard of hearing, the great majority of Cornell students are run-of-the-mill above average students who talk themselves they are gods gifts. These run-of-the-mill above average people even convince themselves they are on the level of Nobel prize winners. They got their heads buried in their assets.

In other words, a Cornell grad fired you once and you are still bitter?

This! From our private in the South. other Ivies are very hard to get into. Cornell (and somewhat Dartmouth) are easier to get into--so kids who (or rather kids with parents) who need the Ivy validation flock to Cornell regardless of fit.

Specifically which college are you saying is easier to get into?

Ouch my 1580 kid with only 1B in an mcps magnet got waitlisted.. Engineering.

ouch here too, similar stats, outright reject.

You might want to consider getting your head surgically removed from your ass.

Wow, this person is comically bitter. Perhaps rejected from a couple Ivy League schools and then obsessed with the idea that she could at least have gone to Cornell, if only she’d applied, because surely they’d have accepted her. She watched classmates she looked down on go to Cornell and have successful careers that she’s sure they don’t deserve. And she developed a persistent fascination with the visual of heads in asses.

+1 this mommy board is littered with embittered losers.

And I gotta assume the posters either didn’t get in 20+ years ago or their kids were rejected. Otherwise who would bother to have this kind of axe to grind? There are no colleges that I care enough about to bash. So strange.

Cornell students in the statutory units are NOT paying SUNY-level tuition. Their tuition is roughly $20,000 less than in the endowed units, and only for NYS residents. There are lots of non-NYS residents in the statutory colleges. The acceptance rates are low in all of the colleges. The overall acceptance rate for 2021 dipped below 9%.

You are confusing real life people with a made up TV entertainment character.

Not saying much.

It's still a lottery. All T20 colleges are lotteries these days.
