I am sorry. Your child sounds wonderful - he will do great wherever he lands. |
Just remember whether or not your child was accepted is not a reflection of his ability, there are just not enough seats of every qualified applicant. Your DS will thrive wherever he goes...best wishes. |
| DC got in! 90% HSPT, Catholic K-8, A's in 8thgrade , As/Bs 7th covid year! Excited! |
| Any idea how to find your waitlist number? |
I don't think any schools have numbered waitlists. If students turn them down, they look and see if there's a pattern and fill gaps. So, maybe they lost more boys and admit a boy. Maybe they lost more girls basketball players and admit a girls basketball player. |
Think of it as a wait pool, not a wait list. If they need to pull from it, they’ll try and find the right student (gender, interests, etc). It’s not ranked necessarily. |
Poor teacher recommendations |
and if you will go if you get off the waitlist no matter what - make sure they know this. |
Nope, my son is over cocky and it wasn’t his first choice. I can bet he expressed that. He was accepted into Gonzaga so it worked out. |
Seems like a perfect fit.
|
That's crazy, sorry to hear. Your kid will do great elsewhere. |
oh great.
|
Just realized he's cocky and Gonzaga bound. What sport? Go SJC! |
Those numbers are pretty typical since 2016. |
I guess he’ll fit right in… |
