Commander Salamander?

No, Commander Salamander was a ways above M on the west side of Wisc., irrc. This was a large space with a lot of vintage dresses but not so much the punk vibe.

Georgetown Cupcake, SoulCycle, TJ Maxx, or Baked and Wired. The happening places are all east of Georgetown now.

Oh eggs Benedict at Pied Au Cochon on the way home on a Sunday am, when we were feeling flush, after a night of clubbing…. If funds were tight it was a slice of pizza around the corner.

Those were the days! Man I miss the easy breeziness of it all.

Middle aged mom to an early elementary dc…yes I engaged in what my friends and I used to call the our glorious day of outrageously extended adolescence.

My friends and I started going to the Charing Cross when we were 15/16. I often wonder where my parents thought we were. It was a simpler time..

Does anyone here go that far back - to Western High?

Yes, I do!

Rive Gauche restaurant — where my Dad took me for my first over the top elegant restaurant meal.
Germaine’s (more Glover Park). the American Cafe. Up Against the Wall. Britches.

We must be around the same age because my family went to both of those restaurants when I was a kid.
