So why does he think Youngkin won?

Get real. OP said Thought Crime. It just leaves it open to report indoctrination in the classroom. Not personal beliefs. In other words, you cannot say ACAB.

You get real. This is 1984 stuff. Look at the language you use. Indoctrination…next you will be talking about re-education camps. How in the hell did we let people like this have any responsibility?

DP. Are you the OP of this thread? Or do you agree with this OP? https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1031920.page
If so, you have absolutely zero self-awareness. Wow.

No nit me. OP’s post is TLDNR. You realize you are defending the governor of a state creating a tip line for political thought? You really need to get some awareness of the way the world works. Youngkin is not long for Virginia. The next governor will be a democrats and he or she may keep the line but use it against your party. You cool with that?

It's not for reporting "political thought," you dodo. It's for noting instances of inappropriate bias in lessons - such as the ridiculous surveys that were mentioned earlier. And really - you need to take your own advice. GL.

Tell it to the principal or the school board or talk to the teacher directly. What is wrong with you people?

Um… we did and we have and nothing was done about it. Maybe “you people” should take a seat.

Actually, he is trying to stop inappropriate indoctrination in the classroom. Where would you suggest parents go with their complaints?

Who defines what that means?

PS. You are not well. Get some help.

This is the most horrible thing I've read today. Considering everything in the world, that's saying something. This guy is pretty scary.

He isn't "left" - come on.

1984 is now officially here in 2022.

What if everyone used this tip line to send sincere compliments regarding all their teachers?

I said friend. And this friend is in fact a leftie. Friend believes that it was all about Dems handling of Covid and the conspiracy of Fauci and others to “suppress” early treatments for covid like ivermectin and hydroxychoriquin. Friend was thanking RFK Jr. for his “powerful speech” this weekend. You know the one where he said that Ann Frank had it better because she could hide in her attic instead of being tracked by 5G. I mean even Cheryl Hines disavowed that part. Anyone who thinks all the crazy is on the right is in denial. There’s a whole group of leftie populists out there and they are dangerous too and the doctors and nurses spreading misinformation on the internet and Joe Rogan’s podcast are recruiting. It is a bigger problem than many realize and it’s not just targeting conservative voters. These algorithms send vulnerable people down wholes and before you know it they are unmoored from reality. F*** up public schools just makes it easier to recruit voters. I am seeing former Bernie worshippers turning on him because he won’t speak out against vaccines and mandates. They really believe the BS.

The 1984 references are rich, given leftists are turning in 'unmasked disease-ridden people' in droves in DC

The tip line is “for parents to send us any instances where they feel their fundamental rights are being violated, where their children are not being respected [and] where there are inherently divisive practices in their schools.”

A Dem could have said this, and it would be perfectly fine by most here.

No Dem would say that. We don’t want a police state that panders to ignorant racists. It’s not remotely the Governor’s job to set up a fascist operation to ban black points of view from schools.

The fact that Youngkin supporters on this thread can’t see what’s wrong with the tip line is scarier to me than the tip line itself.

You mean like saying that "all lives matter?" Remember when HRC had to apologized for saying that?

Turning them in where? What happens once they are “turned in?” The problem with debating with the right is there is nothing to debate. They just manufacture lies. PP, you don’t help your cause with your lies, or is it hyperbole?
