That's what I was thinking too. Vaccinated, close contacts who are asymptomatic don't have to quarantine. That's my understanding.

This is a cold people. We’re laughing at home about how kids are doing this over a cold. But adults can do whatever they want though. It’s all one huge blue state joke.

Yes, of course we’re sending our kids to school and not testing them. We don’t test asymptomatic people for the flu, which is more dangerous to kids, especially kids under 5. Same with RSV.

My child is not sick and they’re going to school. If they get sick, they’re staying home.

In Florida, healthy kids go to school. No close contact BS.

Bring on Youngkin. Dr Marty Makary of John Hopkins is leading his medical transition team and he’s very vocal about people needing to live with COVID like we do 200 other endemic respiratory viruses (especially kids, who are statistically 0 risk of death), masking needing to be a parental choice, and children needing to live normal childhoods again.

If you have an irrational fear of COVID, that needs to be on you and your family. Can’t wait for the new governor

We’re not as aggressive as you (yet), but we were saying the same thing today about Omicron. Whole family has it and it ranges from a 24 hr bug in my baby to a bad cold for me (with hubby and 2 other kids in between). We’re so glad to get it out of the way and are having a mask burning party fire this weekend to make S’mores.

PP here. I didn’t say I fear Covid. The policy as I understand it allows for unvaccinated kids to attend school if they are a close contact and asymptomatic. Isn’t that basically what you are saying? Healthy kids can go to school.
