My son was told they are not allowed to drink from their water bottles all day due to Omicron
This was the rule in my DD's classroom last spring. They were allowed to drink from a bottle with a straw as long as the straw could slide under their mask without removing the straw.
That seems reasonable to me.
While restaurants, bars and gyms are wide open. This child abuse at this point. So ridiculous. Everyone is getting COVID. My husband has it right now. It is a cold. And yes, I'm definitely still sending the kids to school and we're not doing dumb testing either.
Wait...your husband has Covid right now, and you're still sending your kids to school without testing for it?? Do you even wear a mask?
+1 Holy sh1t!!! WTF is wrong with people?!
This is a cold people. We’re laughing at home about how kids are doing this over a cold. But adults can do whatever they want though. It’s all one huge blue state joke. Yes, of course we’re sending our kids to school and not testing them. We don’t test asymptomatic people for the flu, which is more dangerous to kids, especially kids under 5. Same with RSV. My child is not sick and they’re going to school. If they get sick, they’re staying home.
