Absolutely lost any remaining faith in mcps. How can anyone trust them to run a school system after this?

They are sending out tests but not making them mandatory. Why would people even use them?
I’m very surprised DCPS was able to pull off mandatory testing this week. MCPS is really going down the drain. I hope they don’t make Monifa the permanent superintendent. She is flailing badly

Well for us, it portends us not being in MCPS next year.

I'm not against this approach, but what bothers me is the lack of transparency (before we had a % and daily numbers...now we have to trust the are working on it) and their poor implementation of these safety measures (I've seen no details on this "better" ventilation, I suspect the KN95s are only for adults, I know all the schools aren't getting tests on Monday, etc).
