UVA doesn’t care about test scores as much as other schools.

I don't believe this information can be this accurately known and disseminated so quickly. It's made up.

You think 13 girls can’t get this info right in one group chat in less than 5 minutes? I know they can.

Where are you seeing this? Are you just talking about the people who posted n the thread or did UVA put out SAT info

DP. Out of curiosity I looked at my Nova kid naviance. There are tons of students from his school admitted with SAT of less than 1500. The lowest was 1170.

Those green checks don't specify the acceptance year, though.

Oh and my DD shows up on our Naviance with a 1280 Sat even though she did not submit that and instead her 32 ACT.

I had t even thought about this. My DD is a WM ED this year. She’ll show up as a 1350 SAT in Naviance, which she didn’t submit. She submitted her 34 ACT.

Exactly! It’s a highly competitive school and congrats to the admits and good luck to EA!

+10000. WHO CARES if you think some sociopath is fudging the truth - I believe it it true (why else take the time to post) and enjoy the good energy!! Congrats to all who got what they wished! Blessings that they have a wonderful next four years and the school is a good fit both mentally and academically.

I'm sure they can get information that says this. I don't think that that makes the information accurate.

The only OOS kids we have heard of the got in go to private school. In fact, the father of DD’s friend told me his school had a pipeline to UVA and, low and behold, his DD got in.

Which private school is this?

They care enough to give you advanced first-year writing placement if your score is high enough.

DP. My DC's friends are posting their acceptances/rejections/deferrals and even their stats. Kids have pretty accurate information.
