Wrong. my DS is sitting at UVA right now and he had (and submitted)a 1380. He currently has all As. |

Just saying the score is not everything, not looking for congrats. He wasn’t even a stretch to get in according to our schools naviance. He also had a 4.6 gpa and top 2% of his class, which matters more than score at uva. |

?? Hello snark, because he’s a first year so we were in this boat last year. I posted because it’s just false to say you have to have a 1500 to get in. But if that makes you feel better, good luck to you! |

You can’t decline. You’re conscripted to attend UVA because UVA really, really cares about your best interests. It has nothing to do with the fact that all ED optional schools do it for one reason only; to increase their yield so better students won’t be able to attend better colleges. There’s almost no way out! |

DP. Out of curiosity I looked at my Nova kid naviance. There are tons of students from his school admitted with SAT of less than 1500. The lowest was 1170. |
