36% in state vs. 19% out of state. So about twice as hard out of state.

This is why you shouldn’t come to DCUM for actual facts.

Lol this information is outdated by a few years as well, so your point definitely still stands.

So for those admitted, I'm seeing 1500 the lowest SAT score? Any other data for this year?

Accepted - 1550 SAT, 4.33 GPA, strong extracurriculars including community service

People with SATs on the low side don’t submit so the SAT ranges for last year and this year are pushed upwards.

I don't know anyone who didn't submit from NOVA.....

So 100% or 50% difference in admit rate, depending on which stats you source, is “not that different.” Got it.

I am not sure of the point here....better students got better grades?

My “better” student had worse grades last year and his school didn’t hand out As. Stop generalizing.

I don't believe this information can be this accurately known and disseminated so quickly. It's made up.

DD's friend was accepted with less than 1500. She isn't sure of the exact score but thinks it was 1380. I'd definitely submit at least 1400 and up.

You don’t know very many people, do you? Including any WM ED or VT ED or Ivy ED or some other school they love ED or no ED kids.

Sorry, shouldn't have posted this. DD isn't sure if her friend submitted her score.

1380 is person of color or First generation. Sorry. Not a NOVA kid
