Lehigh Vibes

Well, the hills are not welcoming and that can be the deal breaker for those deciding between these two schools. If Engineering, choose Lehigh over the other one tho.

I suppose if your kid is out of shape and doesn’t regularly exercise.

We were expecting Lehigh to be high on our senior’s list but none of us liked it at all. Really bad admissions office presentation, poorly run, tour guide not good.

I know it’s a great school and lots of people have a wonderful experience. We all tried not to let our visit affect us too much but just couldn’t get excited about it.

These schools seem to evoke strong emotions! We visited both and loved Lehigh, although found the admissions officer to be oddly blunt. Did not like Lafayette at all, nor Easton.

I felt the same way and I practically cried myself to sleep the night my kid chose Lehigh. But here we are a year later and he is thriving there - wonderful experience. His friends seem wonderful, the environment is supportive, and he's into some interesting clubs and an intramural sport. Not in Greek life at all - went to a lot of parties at first but opted not to pledge. It's a good fit. I'm glad he was able to see past the crappy presentation and tours when I wasn't.

Oddly similar story.

DC was excited about the school, but got really negative vibes from the tour guide during open house. They also said the campus felt like ‘summer camp’. I don’t know what that means, but the end result was not much excitement for the admission. Pity.
