The worst thing he could see is me complaining to my sister or best friend about his mom over text. I do try to delete those messages sometimes because I am venting and I realize they could be hurtful to him if he ever saw. But he is also well aware of how difficult his mom is, so he wouldn't be totally shocked.

Exactly this. And id maybe be a little embarrassed at how many times I day I call my mom (I call her whenever I’m walking to pick up or drop off kids, which is several times a day).

Yes, he has full access to all my electronics. I do his but never check as i forget the passwords when he tells me. Some our kids know. Nothing to hide.
