For those who put “No Republican” or “No Trumpers” on your dating profile....

Tell me who they voted for? I'll wait.

I have many Republican friends and family who voted for Clinton and Biden. I think you’d be shocked at how many people fall in the Republican but not Biden category.

BTW, I also have a friend who worked in the Obama administration who swears she’s voting Republican in the next election (assuming Trump isn’t the nominee). Party affiliation and votes can go either way.

I’ve never voted republican in a presidential election and I’d agree with this. The thing is that both parties have lurched to the extreme and only support the tail ends of the bell shaped curve. Moderates no longer have a party. And, everyone has been exposed to so much propaganda, DARVOing, fear mongering, trolling from foreign adversaries to stir up divisiveness and 24 hour news dedicated to political platforms that who knows what is real and what isn’t? People have become so dedicated to their blatantly lying political parties that they’d rather cutoff friends or family than associate with them. And guess what? That shows that all the political tactics are working. We’re all so dedicated to our lying politicians that we would fight each other before listening to each other.

For me, I don’t like any political extremists but I do find moderate conservative women more enjoyable to be around.

Cool story. So you must completely support liberal women self-identifying with a line like this in their dating profiles. Wouldn’t want you to waste your time on them.

Republicans are part of the problem because they go along with it. He was your nominee. He ran on your ticket. And you all voted not to remove him. So let's not split hairs.

Most of the Republicans I know didn't vote for him in 2016 (and some voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012) but only voted for Trump in 2020 because they were out of options.

They weren’t out of options, they just preferred Trump.

DP. +1. Regardless of whether they supported Trump as a candidate, they vote in favor of destroying/weakening the social safety net and regulations that protect consumers, voter suppression, letting the government force women to give birth to unwanted babies, trying to prevent the country from getting less White, supporting foreign right wing oligarchies, etc. It doesn't matter if they are Trumpers. He is a symptom. They are the disease.

No, since word is slowly getting out he may be running in 2024 the Democratic agenda media is already running hit pieces. This morning on fake ABC news they claimed Trump didn't get anesthesia for a colonoscopy so Pence wouldn't be in power for those hours. Actually if true it would be impressive, but seriously the news is pretty awful. You'll start seeing the news deflect from Biden's incompetency more and more. Next headline: Trump seen walking out of the restroom with toilet paper trailing from shoe!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely, and I wouldn’t rule anyone out just based on their political leanings. However, if they’re extreme in either direction then its probably not a good fit for me.

So your nephew simply expressing his preference makes him an ass. But everyone on here expressing their utter contempt for Republicans is perfectly understandable and rational. Ah yes, the party of love and tolerance strikes again!

In what universe is trump not the nominee?

If it's Trump and Biden in 2024 I am going with Trump! Biden and Harris are a joke. Can't they recycle Hillary even?
