For those who put “No Republican” or “No Trumpers” on your dating profile....

Isn’t that the point to cull out your ilk.

I'm the PP, but not my ilk as I said NOT A REPUBLICAN but apparently reading comprehension is not a skill of many posting today.

Same.

That's why we do it. Bye!

You do appreciate that all such a requirement says is that you're unable to have a conversation with someone with whom you disagree. That's a death knell for any relationship as even the most compatible people occasionally disagree.

No it says she only dates people with certain morals.

Isn’t that the same as Christian dating sites, farmer dating, Jewish dating?

You still fall into the ilk category because you don’t understand the high moral standard requested in that profile.

You struggle with logic, don't you? Political beliefs are not the same as moral beliefs.

there is disagree and then there is supporting the overthrow of democracy. Jan 6 and the aftermath made it crystal clear that the republic party is perfectly ok with abandoning democracy

hmm- i don't think you are understanding, trump supporting is not a "disagreement" and neither at this point is being part of the GOP, mitch mcconnell supporter. This is a fundamental difference in values, akin to believing a person can be divine or not believing in a divine providence at all. Honestly, its actually a bigger difference, its like the difference between someone who doesn't believe in birth control and someone who thinks having more than 1 child is harmful to the environment. Its a difference in how you approach life, its fundamental to who you are.

Do you really believe all Republicans are Trumpers? You people really need to get out of DC.

If someone puts their political pref. on the profile, that screams to me that they are heavy into politics. That could be a pro or con, depending on the person.

No you're right, Trump's political beliefs are very much amoral beliefs. Help himself, tax cuts for the rich, steal the election, gerrymander everything even more so that Republicans stay in power, make voting as difficult as possible for minorities. His political beliefs aren't moral at all, which is why many people can't stand dating anyone who affiliates with him.

I’m a Republican woman. I put no liberals and got tons of hate mail. It can go both ways.

LOL, you’re the most hilarious of the lot. Voting against your own freedoms.

At this point in time who would date a Republican
.Matte Gaetz, Don Jr, Matthew Cawthorn not great representatives of the GOP men. OMG no one could make up how awful criminals anyone GOP is.

GOP = Authoritarianism and criminals

There is no middle ground period.

Democracy is hugely at risk. Apparently, you don't get that.

Republican woman here. I would. There are crappy men Democrat men. People on politics, no matter the side, are hugely problematic and feel their untouchable. I grew up with a racist, misogynistic cheating friends dad who was politically connected with the Democrat party. I prefer a conservative or Independent man, but I don’t think that person is bad just because of their political party. This is the issue. Everyone is labeled by party. No wonder we can’t get along.

Tell me who they voted for? I'll wait.

Wrong. It says I don’t want to. I’ll be cordial and polite to you if I see you at work, but it’s the height of entitlement to think that you deserve a date. I’m glad to hear you “run for the hills!” Thanks for not wasting my time (and yours!)

I would not trust a Dr who is a Trumper. I would not want my child to have a Trumper teacher. I do my best to research the people my family is around to make sure they are not part of what we consider a cult.

I even told a neighbor that I don’t want to hear her crap. You can’t reason with a Trump supporter. Why would anyone want to date one?

Same. We avoid businesses that we know support trump and/or the GQP. I don’t want to be around those kinds of people at all.

Same.
