Or something you couldn’t make sense of?

What’s the rusty man?
Also I LOVE these!!!! Yay!!!! |
When I was about 4 years old, my parents rented the Rabbi's study/house at a synagogue in Brooklyn. Every night, there was some apparition that helped me go to sleep. Does that count? We lived there a year. I've also seen other ghosts over the years, but not another nightly visitor |

DC Urban Myths! Yeah! |
Ok, I've posted this before but it STILL freaks me out.
I was living in my first apartment alone. My grandfather died, and I had just come back from his funeral when I lost my keys. I searched everywhere. They were gone. I got a copy of my apartment key from management and went to work. Came home, lived my life, went back to work. Repeat x5 days. Meanwhile, I continue to lose my mind about where my keys went. On the ring was a key to my desk drawer at work, my mailbox key (apt couldn't replicate that for some reason) and a couple others. I was also mourning my grandpa. I loved him. The only thing I took from his "estate" (not much) was the tie clasp he got when he retired. I wore it as a sort of brooch for awhile. I would talk to him in my quiet time, touching the tie clasp... Day 6, I come in through my front door, using my borrowed key -- and there on the floor, literally in front of me and totally unmissable, is my key ring with all my keys on it. Explain that. Seriously. EXPLAIN THAT. |
Did you ask your apartment manager if he/she put the keys through your mailbox? Maybe someone turned them in and he/she thought they could be yours? |
What does the tie clasp have to do with the keys? I think I missed something. Also could someone have found the keys and put them under your door? |
I'm a medium. Initially a very reluctant medium. I've been a psychic (really, more of an empath) since childhood. I had no desire at all to see dead people. But they know I can see them so they pop up often.
Last time was less than a week ago. DH and I went to an estate sale. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, I could feel it. I walked into the garage and standing right behind the homeowner was his deceased wife. She was determined to get a message to her husband no matter how hard I tried to ignore her. How to you tell a stranger that his deceased wife wants to talk? You can't just come out and say it. I don't want to get too specific because of his privacy. But she asked me to tell him to look under a piece of furniture in the house. When we did, we found a treasured piece of her jewelry that had been missing. Even after that, she would not shut up. She wanted him to know that she was happy and well. She wanted him to know that selling the house was a good decision. Just on and on. She was a beautiful soul who was determined to get her message through. Spirits know who can see them. She was just waiting for an opportunity. It happens to me all the time when I'm out in public. Standing in line at Target, eating at restaurants, at the park, very often on Metro. I never say a word. There is no way I'm going to start telling random strangers that grandma has stepped forward to chat. |
I think I posted this years ago in another thread.
My aunt and my sisters were travelling home from a girls weekend at a B and B a couple of hours away. As they were driving my aunt was complaining that she could not sleep all night because she had a really vivid dream about a car wreck and it kept her up. She described all the details to my sisters. As they crested a hill on the interstate they came upon the remnants of a bad accident with cars that she had described from her dream. Freaky. |
I get excited when I see these threads too! Does anybody know of a good website to read stuff like this? |
So she only knew where her jewelry was after she died? When I die I will find everything? All those sunglasses and keys and well-hidden christmas presents? |
I have no idea. But she certainly knew exactly where it was. |

Where do those souls go when they're not seeking the living ones out? Do you think there's a heaven? Having recently lost my mom, I wonder this all the time. |
