Huh? There’s an entire thread devoted to Lebanon. Where we can also discuss the murderous Hezbollah and how much the Lebanese despise them.

its very sad- many people on the ground in Iran (I am of Pakistani heritage and ppl move there for uni/business) said that the regime was extremely weakened right before these attacks and on the path to reform. This war ha sonly succeeded in strengthening the regime and making things worse for the pro reform movement. the shah supporters are in a different category bc they dream of the Neo-fuedal state they left behind where the elite had a hyper modern lifestyle funded by extreme exploitation of 90% of the country. They want Iran to be an emirate with a shah but the Irani ppl want democracy. different cultures value different things- the shah Iranians have become more like gulf Arabs in that they value money and wealth- more mainstream Iranian culture values education and trust that well-being will follow.

of course there are internet blackouts etc but ppl in this area of the world are used to using vpns/satelite etc so the news from college kids stuck there is pretty accurate.

I wish we had more of this perspective. I don’t understand how / why we don’t have more news stories on the human impact and focus instead on Iran as a state entity. There are people on the ground. Some of the previous posts highlight how terrible Iran is for putting children in security positions (sure). But it’s our bombs killing those children. We - our taxpayer dollars - are killing people. For what I just don’t understand.

Is this a joke? What kind of government uses CHILDREN as part of their armed forces, regardless of the circumstances? You can’t simply focus on that and condemn Iran wholeheartedly? They are fanatical murderers who see children as absolutely expendable. They are the lowest of the low.

Is it worse than the one murdering children in Gaza?

Is it worse than our own government run by a child molester?

Just a total coincidence the Top Gun movie telegraphed this years ago. This country has been totally captured by Zionism.

It is true. The US military was humiliated by Iran. Are we still losing a plane a day or has that stopped by because can not continue operations because of no munitions? Also Israel has/had direct control over US target lists.

Any predictions about Trump’s speech tonight?

Remember this … (screenshot it if you want to look back in two weeks, startled at the accuracy of what you’re about to read in this post)

1. President Trump will proclaim intent to conclude U.S. “active” involvement in the Iran war in the next 2 - 4 weeks.

2. This is a ruse. There’s no intent to pull back or withdraw entirely. Tonight’s address is simply a last gasp attempt to preserve as much of the base by presenting a “we’re trying to get this done as soon as possible!” gambit.

3. The true intent is to set the stage, politically, for a false flag terror operation on U.S. soil that will be used as the justification to not only backtrack on tonight’s proclamation, but expand U.S. involvement by way of an extensive ground invasion.

4. The obsession with obtaining near universal support across the electorate has reached a fevered pitch. Therefore, this “we want to leave! / now we have no choice but to go all-in!” rope-a-dope is the Hail Mary that has been devised to reclaim the narrative, galvanize the frenzied support he craves, and save face on the global stage.

5. Take one guess who drove this plan within the Administration …

6. Take one guess what nation presented this plan as our only option …
