Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University

The Epstein stuff has been heating up to extreme levels. The disgusting birthday card was just released, further convincing the world (even MAGA) that Trump was deeply entrenched with the Epstein stuff.

Charlie Kirk is a massive MAGA influence. His death has already riled up the right wing sphere to incredible proportions.

They will now turn back to the evil left and forget the Epstein stuff.

To the upper circle of the elites, Charlie was a nobody. It’s absolutely a sacrifice they’d make to protect themselves. The government and/or elites have done far worse to cover up far less.

On one level, this makes some sense. On another, it is a total wack job conspiracy theory.

I have never been a conspiracy theorist nut, but I did think of this myself. I sadly clicked on the video somebody posted here and that was the shot of an expert marksman, full stop. And that person is not in custody. It could very well be a Reichstag fire.

This is where my brain goes too. Now more national emergencies and martial law can be declared with this as evidence of rampant violence/crime. All the protests this year have been far too peaceful to claim anything.

I pray for an end to political violence in our nation.

That would be sad if the murdering of 25 5/6 yr olds didn't move the needle on gun control but the death of a man who accepted that deaths were inevitable for owning guns spurs gun control.

But, if it does, I'm all for it. But, I highly doubt it. Kirk didn't want more gun control. This would be spitting in his face, so to speak.

Exactly. The fact people think this could push R’s to support gun control just show how much they truly don’t get R’s position on gun control. This will push Charlie’s base even more towards guns and protecting 2A.

It’s very strange that they held a guy that was identified by others as the shooter and it was reported that he said, “i’d do it again,” but then wasn’t the shooter. At least that’s what I saw reported earlier.

Was that all misreporting?

He'd roll over in his grave.

I see the other side is like - it was a public execution, but when it's a classroom full of kids - well we need to keep our guns to protect ourselves.

I feel bad, but...

I do feel bad. If he had lived he might have changed his mind about gun rights, like James Brady, if you know who he was.

Trump & Reagan survived shootings, but did not change their views on gun control.

Well, he's gone now. Let's make the world better for his kids, regardless of his position.

Charlie Kirk was an American hero who tried to engage in peaceful discourse with everyone, regardless of political or ideological differences. What a sad day for this country. I'm heartbroken for his beautiful family.

+1 the division is not an accident. Adversarial nationals do things to create chaos internally. I know it’s nutty, but it takes social condition to convince people to hate their fellow citizens. It’s being done purposefully.

I'm not ready to speculate on who is behind it, but agree this is being done purposefully.

The Right will spin this to benefit themselves and Trump like they do every tragedy and send this country further into an autocratic hole.
