Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University

My main observation from the last few hours of monitoring US social media is that Democrats are universally denouncing political violence and calling for calm while MAGA are escalating language and openly lusting for retribution against broad categories of people they identity as their enemies.

Charlie Kirk Was An Inside Job
The Epstein stuff has been heating up to extreme levels. The disgusting birthday card was just released, further convincing the world (even MAGA) that Trump was deeply entrenched with the Epstein stuff.

Charlie Kirk is a massive MAGA influence. His death has already riled up the right wing sphere to incredible proportions.

They will now turn back to the evil left and forget the Epstein stuff.

To the upper circle of the elites, Charlie was a nobody. It’s absolutely a sacrifice they’d make to protect themselves. The government and/or elites have done far worse to cover up far less.

Guaranteed it has already started

The 99.9% of the killings are being done by right wing extremists.

The FBI stated that right wing extremism was more dangerous to our country than Islamic terrorists, but Trump didn't like that so the FBI had to strike it from their report.

Trump knows that is his base.

I see the other side is like - it was a public execution, but when it's a classroom full of kids - well we need to keep our guns to protect ourselves.

I feel bad, but...

I do feel bad. If he had lived he might have changed his mind about gun rights, like James Brady, if you know who he was.
No, he would not have changed his mind. The next time he would speak in an area infested with liberals he would ignore the “No Gun Zone” sign, as he should. Because most liberals are cowards, the do all they can to ensure you cannot defend yourself, which is why liberals want so badly to take away the 2nd Amendment under the pretext of protecting children.

You must have been a big fan to ignore all logic and reason like this.

Let this be a step towards gun reform.

I pray for an end to political violence in our nation.

Sure, as soon as the right wing dials it back and gets off of its disingenuous high horses of guns and the who and why of gun violence and agrees to start help fix it.

But until then, no. You started it, right wingers.

Actually I’m a Democrat!! People need to cool down. This is what happens when we have an armed & crazy society, but let’s not shoot each other god’s sake

We are going crazy not because we are armed. It's because we are strategically divided.

+1 the division is not an accident. Adversarial nationals do things to create chaos internally. I know it’s nutty, but it takes social condition to convince people to hate their fellow citizens. It’s being done purposefully.

Yes the people celebrating this on this thread makes me sick. I just know it’s the same people that make fun of prayer.

Hateful lot. Why do you think the country is swinging right?

you have to got to be joking. People who abhor violence are swinging to the side that supports guns and someone who said we have to accept that people will die in order for us to have access to guns? Is this a joke?

The right don't want to support healthcare which includes mental health. The right doesn't want to support any social welfare that would help people with mental illness. The right want to allow people with mental issues to own a gun.

GTFO

Keep telling yourself that and maybe you’ll start to believe it.

Was it a conservative that shot up a catholic school? Was it a conservative that murdered Charlie? Was it a conservative that slit a girls throat on the metro?

We don't know who murdered Charlie, so lets not jump to conclusions. And we don't know Decarlos Brown's political orientation, so lets not make assumptions based on race.

I bet you a good company donut that it's a republican MAGAot.

Most likely it’s a Groyper aligned with Nick Fuentes. They hate Kirk for his pro-Israel views

Seriously? Charlie Kirk's assasination is what got you here? He's not even a politician, just a talking head.

Someone killed him because they didn’t like the things he said. Someone with opposing views felt justified in assassinating him. That is dangerous for all of us.

The irony is that he welcomed debate.
This sickens me.

Ne he didn't. He's been dodging debates with Dean Withers and other young liberals, because for example Dean absolutely shredded his arguments on Jubilee. Kirk refuses to debate anyone with a clue.

Parker was there trying to get him to debate with him. He ran out when shots rang and immediately posted a frantic video because he was very close. He’s now breaking down on IG, quite understandably. I feel so sorry for him.

I think the thing Charlie and MAGA missed is that gun violence affects those who witness it. Charlie and those kids are in shock. Yet, we never talk about the mental health of people who witness gun violence.

My heart is breaking for all those young people who witnessed this violence.

I have never been a conspiracy theorist nut, but I did think of this myself. I sadly clicked on the video somebody posted here and that was the shot of an expert marksman, full stop. And that person is not in custody. It could very well be a Reichstag fire.

So appropriate.

I felt really sad reading his tweet. He’s never said anything remotely that genuine and kind to ordinary Americans. But sympathies for a beautiful blonde woman.

Did Trump tell a Gold Star wife that her husband knew what he signed up for?

Yes he did.

And he seems to be a big fan of letting it infect the armed forces and police forces.

That would be sad if the murdering of 25 5/6 yr olds didn't move the needle on gun control but the death of a man who accepted that deaths were inevitable for owning guns spurs gun control.

But, if it does, I'm all for it. But, I highly doubt it. Kirk didn't want more gun control. This would be spitting in his face, so to speak.
