Lacrosse
This is totally on Speaks. Should've gotten a fogo and should've moved to a pole early to at least muck it up and get into more 50/50's. Has this been consistent all year? |
|
Speaks should have poached a fogo from a local private or public He tried to grab a 2026 fogo from an IAC school. |
| STAB over Episcopal 18-6. The IAC basement is deep. |
The best teams in the WCAC are 2-4 and will be 3-4. |
|
Top 4 teams in the area are landon, Bullis, SJC and GZ. No need for a pissing competition on who is 1 - 4.
However after the top 4, there is a pretty big drop off this year. |
Against strong competition to be sure. Apples and oranges. GP and SSSA have been shellacked by a Richmond school, STA is returning from spring break mauled by gators. Landon and Bullis are solid, against solid competition. The drop off beyond them is the steepest in years. |
PVI and EHS are both glorified 8th grade club teams, rounding out said basement. |
BasementS. Unless you mean the DC Metro basement. Then fine. But there’s worse in both leagues. So more like 1st floor storage room. |
| After watching that St. John’s vs St. Anthony’s game, I can confidently say that St. John’s is the best team in the DMV and it isn’t close. |
|
Who is legitimate in the WCAC other than GZ and SJC?
I’m not convinced GC or DM would even beat Episcopal or GP this year. PVI is clearly down. The Heights have played nobody |
Wrong |
The Heights gave up 11 goals to St Andrew’s and Langley beat St Andrew’s 18-2. I don’t get the Heights hype. |
Cadets offense is pretty ordinary. Stop the Maryland bound middie and you win. Fogo is sub par. Strength is in their defense and goalie play. Gonzaga is more athletic than SJC and it will be a complete toss up. |
Maybe Langley is pretty good. Rankings have them in the top 10 |
Waiting for Heights homer dad to weigh in. Where are you HHD? |
