The Democrats have a wealth of candidates running this time, and the Republicans found someone to challenge Comstock, for all the good it will do.

I'm struggling with this.
I THINK I'm going to vote for Lindsey. I actually know her personally through a mutual friend. I wish Dr. Biggins had more traction, as she is obviously intelligent and passionate. I hope she decides to run for something else locally - we definitely need her voice. Dan has a great resume and isn't afraid to hit hard when needed. Senator Wexton is very well liked in some circles I am part of, but she just doesn't have the spark I am looking for. And the campaign ad controversy that just came out doesn't sit well with me. I think she is going to win, and I will back her if she is the nominee, but I am worried about her. |
| I have no idea. Is this the race with the guy who went to the gun show? |
What campaign ad controversy is this? I only heard about the Helmer ad. I'll support the nominee; I'm leaning Wexton or Friedman. I also like Biggins, and I also hope she runs locally. PP, yes, Helmer is the one who went to the gun show. |
She had a video of "police" endorsing her on a poster. The police were staffers wearing "Party City" uniforms. The old fashioned dark blue police uniforms with a badge. It was fake and it looked fake. |
| ON June 12th, in Republican primary, for Comstock. |
ditto |
| Comstock |
|
Definitely not Wexton.
I think either Alison Freidman or Dan Helmer. It’s an important vote because whoever wins the primary will crush Comstock. Those Chamber of Commerce ads with white women singing her praises aren’t fooling anyone. |
I know at least one of those women. Blah. |
| I want to like Alison, but she lacks something personality wise. |
|
Dunno. I have too many questions.
Who is more likely to bring people together rather than pull them apart? Who will be the most effective at bringing about positive change without making the extremes of either side (GOP or Dem) more radicalized? Who can listen to an opposing POV without dismissing it out of hand? |
I hope you're voting for comstock because you'd be ok with her possibly winning. I'd hate to see terrible options on the ballot like the last presidential election. |
Yes, voted for her for state delegate, and twice for Congress. |
| I think the person who wants someone who listens to both sides and someone wiilling to reach across the aisle would like Lindsey or Dr. Biggins. They are both easy to talk to and sympathetic/relatable. They don't come off as cocky/arrogant-just real people. |
