I’m sure everyone alive in 1998 would disagree but how else can a politician buy votes from people who don’t earn enough to pay federal taxes? Oh, right….

In fairness, in 1998 we had phone booths, so it was possible to get by without a phone.

It’s pretty amazing to see all those complaining about how bad the economy is to see how many people are traveling. In my travels this summer the airports are packed. Not busy, packed. Restaurants, hotels all busy.

We can get by in most places without a car. Well unless you live on a farm or a very rural area. The good thing, most people live in or near a city with walkability, bikeability and mass transit.

Note also, electricity and mass transit are subsidized for people of lower income.

I know it's the corporate greed; DH knows, and my young adult Gen Z knows it. Who doesn't know this? Will electing a corporate billionaire help the regular people already struggling because of corporate greed?

Your electricity bill is regulated by your state and has nothing to do with the president or any president.
