Biden didn’t tell you to shop at Whole Foods for your fancy goat cheese. I have celiac disease and a loaf of gluten free bread is about $10, so I don’t eat bread.

We live in a capitalistic society. The government doesn’t set prices. I thought conservatives were about the free market?! The free market sets prices.

I used Pepco Energy Wise Rewards this summer which reduced my total monthly energy usage in June, yet my bill was $40 higher than last summer before I enrolled in this program.

When I look at my bill, the increase is entirely from energy consumption subsidies granted to accounts that are behind.

Rewarding people who don’t pay for their energy use by recouping the losses from people who do does not reduce energy consumption in the aggregate. It’s a lazy way to buy votes. I don’t hear a single Republican calling for this program but I hear multiple Democrats, local and national, touting it like it will save the environment. How stupid they must think voters are.

And read the fine print in your cell phone bill. If you have a mainstream account, you’ll see a similar program that is mandatory there. It’s a nice chunk of my monthly cell phone bill.

That is a PEPCO program, not a Biden program.

As we speak, Ford and General Motors/Chevy literally can't build their most expensive heavy duty (HD) pick-up trucks fast enough. 24/7 shifts and Ford just announced its expanding production of HD pick-up trucks into a third factory. That's gotta be healthy economic signal.

And I can't drive anywhere without seeing housing construction; SFHs, multi-family, and mixed use. If the economy was slowing, construction would slow.
