Really? I didn't think that he came off all that happy on Oprah as he was whining about being cut off and needing to figure out a way to earn a living.

Yes, people living in Montecito, one of the most beautiful places in the U.S., in mansions are known to be so, so sad. They spend their days crying on the gorgeous beaches dreaming of the 80% of the year when the weather in the UK is terrible and the family they don’t get along with.

The trolls are hilarious. He responds to one question about why he left the monarchy and they can’t get over it. The rest of the interview is him describing lucrative deals, the purchase of a gorgeous mansion and his family thriving. Now he’s doing the LiveVax concert with A-lusters and heads of state. Notably no one else from the BRF was invited.

Did they beg to attend?

William and Kate sure did.

Everything about them is hypocritical. They go visit poor villagers in Africa then complain that they’re not ok. They complain incessantly about the BRF but have never suggested giving up their titles. They have to make money for security, but then buy a $15M mansion and it seems the money they make will never be enough. They claim to want privacy, then arrange for PR fluff pieces and obvious pap walks. They are not very bright egomaniacs. It makes for a fascinating story to follow, but I’ll never watch their Netflix shows, listen to their Spotify or buy anything Meghan tries to merch. I suspect much of their “followers” are like me- interested in the story, but not buying what they’re trying to sell.

#Metoo - the only positive thing I can say about Harry's first wife is she has good fashion sense (or her stylist does). The couple has zero self-awareness, common sense or apparently, business sense as they are floundering around trying to make any deal they can while they still have some cultural relevance - that window is closing fast.

You both come off as unhinged and a bit heavy into conspiracy.

When you slow down to watch the wreck that had you stuck in traffic is that a conspiracy? It's like watching the aftereffects of a car crash and has nothing to do with conspiracy.

True. But when you spend hours of your life posting about it and talking about it then you run into crank territory.

And here we are. I don't understand posters that do this. Why are you here if not to watch this trainwreck and comment? People like to dissect celebs - if Megs and company want to be left alone, then stay out of the limelight.

It's because half of the things the Meghan bashers claim or believe about this woman are completely unsubstantiated or based off of hearsay. Others are just pure double standards of the most cloyingly bizarre order.

You mean just like the way you Meghan stans can’t shut up about William and Rose Hanbury?

DP. There are not multiple threads about Rose Hanbury. I’m not a a Meghan Stan but I think you have to be quite delusional to think that William is never going to be the only male British monarch/heir to not have a mistress of some kind, Rose or not.

You don’t know that for a fact, so you might be the delusional one.

No.

You decide for yourself.

So...during the event she ditched the bump?
Anonymous
Why does her bump look fake to me?

You can count me as a Meghan “hater,” but damn was her maternity style on point! Beautiful outfits!

Because she’s beautiful. And because you want to cling to any negative conspiracy theory about her.

Remember: there were threats against Meghan due to the moonbump conspiracy. Someone was literally threatening to put a knife through Meghan's belly to prove that she wasn't actually pregnant.

It's repugnant and vile.

....and? SFW?

It’s as likely as not that any woman who married Harry would have had the lunatics be themselves regarding a pregnancy. How is this distinct from the crazy celebrities deal with in a remote way? It isn’t, but I’ll prepare myself for the exciting upcoming dissertation.

Just because this kind of behavior occurs with others doesn't mean it's justified. I think all death threats or threats of violence of all stripes are repugnant and vile. And I think we can all agree that when those kinds of things do happen, most people are on the side of the celebrity (or whoever in question) who chooses to distance themselves/put up a restraining order/fight back legally.

Not sure what your argument is here. I think it's a little deranged to think that anyone deserves to have violent threats against them simply because they're in the public eye.

Theory on the prosthetic - remember how the press was always gushing about her "cradling" her bump? Wouldn't you be too if it had a habit of moving/sliding down in public? Trying to keep that thing in place in case of a slip up. Look, lots of celebs have surrogates - but the fake pregnancy stuff is kind of weird - just cop to using a surrogate.

Lots of odd things about this pregnancy for it to not be a surrogate.

the bump keeps deflating:

weird bump shape:

Awkward squat while pregnant:

no doctor's signature at Archie's birth announcement

You people are nuts. Do you not remember her face got all puffy and then it took her a while to get her figure back? She was clearly pregnant.

No one justified a goddamned thing. Your high dudgeon is just terrible argument. Everyone under the sun in similar positions of fame had had insane theories, claims, threats lobbed at them. The things Meghan dealt with and will deal with are not unique, special, or notable in any manner. You’re tossing in this crap for a pity wank. It’s just kind of pathetic, but you’ve got a style and you’re gonna stick with it.
