Right here. I still don't see enough to get a murder conviction. Everyone is going to start pointing at everyone else and calling the other a liar. Good luck figuring out which is the "real truth."

There will be a murder conviction against the ex husband. The mistress and lawyer will bury him saving their butts.

Privileged communication. Using that would result in an instant mistrial under the guise of ineffective counsel.

Once the Crime-Fraud exception is found to be applicable, the Attorney-Client privilege no longer protects any of the documents, other evidence from being obtained and used in Court and further the attorney may now be compelled to testify on those topics against his (now former) client.

You haven’t been paying attention. This is his friend, who was the lawyer who represented him in the civil suit brought by his in-laws years ago. Not sure how privilege could apply to communicating about a murder. However, he is not a criminal defense attorney, so no claim of ineffective counsel.

Yep, he's toast. The lawyer and the ex girlfriend are going to fold like cheap lawn chairs.

Just because the lawyer's cell phone pinged at a cell tower near the country club I do not see it happening. The girlfriend is still standing after three interviews with the police. They need them to fold other wise even if he is convicted, he will not get life but only 10 years and will get out much earlier for good behavior.

+1. Grandmother can hire excellent round-the-clock care for the children.

Just because someone has all the money in the world and can hire full help, as she already doing (that's another reason that the nanny's testimony about the paper rolls will be questionable in a trial as the grandma was the one always paying her and continuous to do so) it does not mean that the court considers the person competent. The overseeing family court judge twice denied her custody and she went to a different judge to get temporary guardianship.

I am mildly surprised filthy rich grandma didn't hire a security force to guard daughter and grandchildren. If she was paying $69k/month to a lawyer, she could afford security. I guess they didn't consider Dulos that dangerous?

I thought about this too. I think she just didn't want to spend that money indefinitely. People with money can be strange about where and how they spend.

I can just see the benefit of a doubt and the path how he will get acquitted. Gloria hated him, had psychiatric issues, was obsessed against him and she was paying for two years the divorce attorney $69K monthly, was paranoid/delusional that he would take the 5 grandchildren and leave so cooked up the story/alleged murder with Jennifer to accuse Doulos so they would punish him. Jennifer was also angry because he was cheating all this time with Michelle and then after the divorce started had Michelle move in the family house.

Do not forget that until now we have only heard the careful image created by Gloria's pr team as there was a gag order to the doulos side. Even the kids pictures released are to create empathy for Jennifer. If the twin boys are 13, they definitely do not look beyond 7 in any of the pictures. In the photos with the dad they look adolescent.

But going back to the benefit of the doubt, Doulos' team will just have to provide the divorce motions filled by Jennifer a year ago to support his claim of what happened and that Jennifer is still alive and her wealthy and "psychotic" mom is paying to help her hide. He will bring the example of other wealthy adult kids supported by their parents while hiding overseas, etc. Plus, we still do not know what else the DA and police had found for others during the investigation but decided not to pursue and only focused on doulos. Until now doulos did not have access to that as the police had filled to keep it under seal any records of other investigations. It will be interesting to see what these records show.

"Dulos filed an emergency order for full custody of her children in July 2017, saying that she feared her estranged husband would kidnap their children. 'I believe him to be highly capable and vengeful enough to take the children and disappear,' she wrote in the filing. Her request was denied. (Emphasis mine.) Dulos claimed that Fotis had threatened to 'take all of the children' and 'disappear' in his native Greece or another country. She alleged he told her 'you will never find us'. In one filing, Dulos claimed that Fotis had applied for Greek passports for himself and their five children, according to the Hartford Courant."

Was not a case a few years ago that the grandparents took the kid, I think a girl and hid her in New Zealand and lived there for years so the ex-son in law would not take her. And the wealthy Indian American also in CT that his ex took twin girls and left and he hired private investigators and can not find them. The other dad that his ex and welathy grandparents took the son to a Latin American country and prevented him from seeing him.

Remember, doulos still has not been allowed to see the blood results and medical records and had filled the following motion months ago:
"The motion asks for the records “to evaluate whether Ms. Dulos, alarmed by her diagnosis and fearing that she might be able to raise the children on her own, took steps to cause her own disappearance in such a way as to raise suspicions about Mr. Dulos.”"

I am just suggesting plausible scenarios but the more I think about it, everything is possible!

Judges never believe abuse victims. I hope the judge who denied her request burns in hell along with him.

Judges have seen thousand of cases where in bitterly contested divorce either side claims "verbal abuse" without any evidence in order to get full custody, for any reason whether it is revenge, increase the amount of spousal and child support, anything. I bet Jennifer was mad at hell being a stay at home mom dealing with five kids while her ex had his mistress and her kid staying at the family home, sleeping at her bed, etc. If all was OK mentally with Jennifer, grandma would not fight to prevent the family court ordered family mental study introduced as evidence.

COWARD. I hope he rots in hell.

At least he saved his kids a trial, and the state money.
