Back to Multi-Travel Sport Players....
For travel coaches out there, if you know that a kid is playing multiple travel sports, do you pass on him for someone who is more committed? |
| Not a travel coach but a parent -- it's obnoxious when the AAU girls skip team practices for soccer but show up for the games. Playing time needs to be reduced for these types of kids. It hurts the team. |

Hi OP here. Can we please keep this to travel soccer, as the title suggests? Speaking for myself, I found insightful information here.
If you want to discuss rec league commissioners, etc, please make start your own thread. |
| PAC has not announced the rising travel tryout schedule. Teams full? |
If you're going to complain about thread focus, could you please start another thread? This thread is supposed to focus on travel soccer in Northern Virginia, not complaints about thread focus. |
FYI: There is a House league thread. |
Wondered about that. How would the rising U9s be full, though? |
| True. I guess they're just a bit behind the other clubs in terms of posting the schedule. |

Why would a club hold tryouts for 7&8 year olds until 8:45 pm at night?????
My kid goes to bed at 8:30pm. |
So I'm not the only one that things the late time isCRAZY! These are little kids. They've been going all day with rec games, play dates, etc. |
Which club? (I checked -- it's not VYS!) |
| Does anyone know of any quality "boutique" clubs for both boys and girls in Northern Virginia where a coach is dedicated to a single team? I know of Cuigini, Joga and Bethesda South with that type of format. Others? Any information would be appreciated before tryouts start up. Tired of the mob-style practices with 50 kids goofing off while 3 or 4 trainers babysit. |

How long before Arlington starts hiring a bunch of ITS trainers? |
| Good luck to the guy. He found a great club! |
| Yes, Eddie's a great guy. Wish him only the best. |
