DL again...PS the other question that Google cannot answer for me is one that I asked of this group. Does it seem to you that my doctor has showing interest in having an affair with me? |
It certainly sounds that way to me. No doctor of mine has ever acted that way. |
It’s almost like doctors will earn more money if their patients return to them over other doctors who are rude to them |
We were friends with very light flirtatious overtones for a year. In the same circle. Suddenly it went left and it became much more flirtatious. We act completely normal in group situations, and have no interest in breaking up (otherwise) happy homes. Great sex and we're still friends. |
NP here. Does this also happen in work situations? Ie light flirtatious emails that increase in frequency and continue for awhile until you’re in the right place/time? |
Yes it happens. I’m in the middle of that atm. Still in the flirtatious phase. |
Have you done this a lot before? How long does that typically take before it goes left? |
Nope - first time. |
How do you know it will turn into something more then? Some people are just flirts- even at work. How do you know they’re willing to go outside their own marriage? |
Ah, that is the thing, I think you never know.
I can see he is flirting and looking at me ALL THE TIME. I am single and younger and I am pretty sure he will not make “the” move (especially given the recent scandals about sexual harrassment) If I want it to go further, I should initiate. |
I hope you keep it flirtatious only then. Especially since he’s married and holding back. |
Question: How does one get the point across without taking too much risk? |
If you are a female, you can (almost) get away with anything. If a man, its more complicated. |
What made you write “holding back”? |
If someone is married and you think he's "holding back" why the hell are you flirting with him? I'm divorcing so not defensive or overly defensive about marriage but it is very uncool to disrespect someone else's marriage. |
