Italian and Italian-American singers were really popular in the 1950s and 60s in Puerto Rico. Sinatra performed there several times. |
+2 If you've ever interacted with Latinos, the only thing you can conclude is that they're not a homogeonous group. |

Can't get much more wholesome than a wedding...

It was a visual disaster. Total chaos. |
You sound like painting the shoestring trim of baseboards is your idea of fun. |
The set up was incredible. They couldn’t truck in the plants or set because it would damage the field, so those plants are PEOPLE!! I want a plant costume now. Link: https://www.wired.com/story/bad-bunny-super-bowl-halftime-show-behind-the-scenes/ |
I don’t even know anything that bad bunny sings and certainly didn’t understand the show being in Spanish, but I thought it was a visually stunning show as well. It was very different than anything in the past. And I understood the message about it being entirely in Spanish. If it were normal times, I’d say the Super Bowl is an annoying time to make political statements, but Trump and his admin are monsters so I actually think it was brave of bad bunny to use this platform to send a message. |
It wasn’t even all that political and it was very gentle. |
No she doesn't. And if you look at photos from the event, her collarbones and shoulder bones aren't sticking out either. Not that her body is any of our business. |
The message you are oblivious to is you Dems are at historical lows in terms of popularity. |
Ma’am this is a Wendy’s. |
The party and politicians are unpopular. Socially liberal beliefs in diversity and caring for others are not unpopular at all. |
She could just be aging. Different people age differently. |
Next year it's in LA at SoFi. |
Could not disagree more. The sugar cane backdrop added a lot of visual unity. The flags ended it with a strong statement that drove home the verbal message. The visual depictions of latino culture and verbal and visual shout outs to NYC and Puerto Rico worked. It was just incredibly well thought out and planned. And fun! |
