All American Latinos study English in schools so they can understand it better than rest of the Americans can understand other languages.

Between our Olympians who are speaking up on a daily basis in Cortina, JD Vance getting the boos, the Canadian gay hockey show that has taken over the world as the most in-demand TV series, and Bad Bunny tonight, Trump must be livid. Love that for him!

Yes, and don’t forget a gay woman singing America the Beautiful, Green Day opening, plus a defeat of the Patriots by a woman-owned/operated team. So much for the deplorables to fume about.

Is Lady Gaga latino

But Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, and Spanish is mostly spoken there. And BB is Puerto Rican. It makes complete sense why he would perform his music in Spanish. This whole Spanish thing is a nothing burger.

He can sing a song mixed with both languages if he is singing on a national stage or one in Spanish and other in English. Be more inclusive. That's his message anyways.

He sings and records his songs in Spanish. Why would a popular artist asked to play in the Super Bowl rewrite his work? He is singing the songs he is known and loved for. He didn't sing in Spanish to make a political point- these are his songs.

I don't understand the language or support provocative dancing during family events but I liked the message of unification and apparently performance was liked by majority so that's great.

One thing I really loved about this performance is it offered joy, love and playfulness that we are so desperately missing these days. And it was visually stunning - very impressive. The collective effect was able to create a vibe and atmosphere so well

No, she's of Italian descent.

That's a valid point but then he wasn't the ideal choice for a show. Anyways, I'm glad they didn't reuse Beyonce, Aliya or Lopez in their leotards.

Most Latinos understand English better than Puerto Rican Spanish, actually.

It’s no different than trying to understand different English accents. Listen to some reggae or afrobeats. I understand it but sometimes it takes me a second to compute it in my mind.

Neither is Kendrick Lamar. But I can get over it.

Who? Deceased Aaliyah from the 90s?

Are you going to ban the NFL cheerleaders too? Suggest they dress modestly like the Duggars? The Bad Bunny dancers were dresssed far more modestly than the cheerleaders. And it was family friendly. Dancing, a wedding, a little boy receiving Bad Bunny's grammy to represent dreams that can be fulfilled..

But the superbowl is a moneymaking event and bad bunny is wildly popular. The Puerto Rican dialect is also unique. This feels like the perfect opportunity to showcase a highly successful and awarded musical artist who has is making music with a uniquely American voice. Puerto Rico IS America. Why wouldn't the organizers jump on this???

Who are these "many Latinos?" Is this something you saw on YouTube and have decided is fact?

+1 These posts about "most Latinos" are ridiculous. These are people just making up stuff to suit their narrative.

I didn't watch, but if they managed to get Aaliyah, I would have.
