Well, none of his songs are in English so . . .

Something I love about the younger generation is that their music taste has gone international and they don’t mind other languages. You used to have to start singing in English to crossover to an American audience (ex. Shakira) and now they don’t. A lot of the K pop the teenage girls are listening to is just straight Korean and they don’t mind in the slightest.

So big of them not "to mind." Geez.

That came off wrong but think about it, music in a foreign language used to be rare to hear on the radio 20 years ago and now it’s not.

On the radio here, maybe . . .

Omg DP here. Let it go. You are being an a33 dor no discernible reason

And...so?

Apple Music is the sponsor of the halftime show. They have a vested interest and putting someone on stage who rakes in streaming numbers and that person is Bad Bunny. You might not like him but there is no denying his popularity. The NFL is also trying to go global and Bad Bunny has international appeal.

"Bad Bunny has sold over 100 million equivalent album sales, positioning him as the 60th best-selling music artist of all time and the best-selling Latin artist in history in terms of Spanish-language music sales. His massive sales are a combination of album purchases and the massive number of streams his music receives on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, which are counted as equivalent album sales. "Bad Bunny's recent Puerto Rico residency finale livestream on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch set new records for the platform."

The teenage girls were learning songs such as TLC's waterfalls because certain K pop artists were singing it. Then they went and listened to the original. #newgenweold

I think at least as of his first SNL appearance he did not speak much English. I think he was first host to give monologue on a different language wasn’t he? He is incidentally one of the funniest guest hosts I’ve seen in a while on SNL, and he was also great in happy Gilmore 2.

The halftime show has been subpar for a few years.

Both can be true. The past two years have sucked.

I haven't listened to his music but he is hilarious on SNL - even more in cameos than when he hosted IMO
