Those players will make it back within 5 years of graduation. |
Princeton's defensive coordinator is a known Georgetown Prep alum. By all means, I'm not implying that because a GP alum is on their coaching staff, he is going to be biased towards recruiting kids from his alma mater. To play at the highest level, kids have to earn it in both the classroom and on the playing field. As for GP this spring, I think they will struggle behind both Landon and Bullis. |
They take borderline students too. |
GP has stronger academics than SJC and Gonzaga |
Agree and Bullis too but not Landon, St Albans, EHS or SSSAS |
But who has the best band? |
Exactly this. There is an entire group of threads dedicated to learning and math and stuff. This is lacrosse. If a kid is marginally smart but can play lax he can go to Princeton Harvard or Yale. They don't need to be in a "big 3" school. No kid from Maret is getting a lax scholly anytime soon |
All I have to say is that on a national level the 2026 class might be the weakest one in over a decade. The young man from prep is a great player no doubt, but in no world would he have even been close to a 5 star in any class over the last few years. The top 10 2026s might not crack the top 50-75 if they were in the 22-24 classes…guess they all made the right call on the home backing. |
Hold backing…. |
GP - Princeton (reclassed) Landon - Navy, MI SJC - Navy, Penn State Potomac - Navy Bullis - GC - MD NL - Princeton, MI (reclassed), 2x Navy DCE - Penn State, Navy ML - MD |
Thanks for assembling this list together for the 2026s |
Not true, Prep has better academics than Landon, EHS, and SSAS. |
Not stronger than SSSAS? LOL. |
Big nope except for SSSAS. |
I know of several boys who were not accepted or "wait-listed" at Gonzaga were admitted into GP this past admissions cycle.
and Yes many of them are good athletes. GP has good academics but will deviate from their "high standards" for exceptional athletes. |
