The U.S. govt has 2.87 million employees as of 2022. That's greater than the strength of the People's Liberation Army of China at 2.54 million as of 2022 (wikipedia). China has 1.4 billion people.

That’s a dishonest comparison. You gotta compare US federal employees with China federal employees, not with a subset of China’s federal employees (it’s armed forces)

According to the most current data from OPM's Fedscope it's 2.2m https://www.fedscope.opm.gov/ibmcognos/bi/v1/disp?b_action=powerPlayService&m_encoding=UTF-8&BZ=1AAABnqzSwbN42oVOQW6DMBD8jJe0h0brhdBw4GBsoyC1kAbuFSFOFBUwIr7k9xVwSNtLZ7TSaHZGGq8s1mVVHHSm4puzo8nUExBdQ5GG2zSKpAx4kISURBhoLpQMXxVyXwDRszd1tTjI3V5UuxgobWzvTO_A0rNtT2aETQIB9nVnwFerfd181Rdz_9Td0Np7Z3q3go0CSofl8zv_SAHhCxCWZnCmO5oRCAnJn8qeKuVaFnmuZZUVeS7edfxv0Us_4jMi44jIOTLGkG2QEbKJjImL6Zs7EAKdgFC0LWD0ZpvaXW3%7Ex2ZAWyAfgQwHOgJFi8EfBpsB5E%7ExH_AzZ7WMmW_ZsOAbjjNqYg%3D%3D.

That said, the lion's share of federal employment is DoD, VA and DHS. Outside of those three, the typical Cabinet-level agency and all of its sub-agencies combined has fewer employees than a typical large US company.

There ya go....

"Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 206,000 in June, and the unemployment rate
changed little at 4.1 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job
gains occurred in government, health care, social assistance, and construction. "

"Government employment rose by 70,000 in June, higher than the average monthly gain of 49,000
over the prior 12 months. Over the month, employment increased in local government, excluding
education (+34,000) and in state government (+26,000).

Health care added 49,000 jobs in June, lower than the average monthly gain of 64,000 over the
prior 12 months. In June, employment rose in ambulatory health care services (+22,000) and
hospitals (+22,000).

Employment in social assistance increased by 34,000 in June, primarily in individual and
family services (+26,000). Over the prior 12 months, social assistance had added an average of
22,000 jobs per month."

So, out of 206K new jobs, 153K (or 74%) were government and health.

Thriving economy myass.

Nothing but contempt for US workers

How else can you explain a policy to import millions of low wage workers to keep inflation down???

On the backs of workers wages

Wages are up under Biden.
Manufacturing jobs are up under Biden.

What are you even talking about?

Oof, the gap widens when you see the fake Biden regimes numbers and the household surveys.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-06-07/diverging-us-payrolls-household-jobs-data-show-tale-of-surveys?embedded-checkout=true

There is an unprecedented gap between the two where the household arranger find the supposed 5 million jobs the Biden regime says exist.

Turns out job reports in 2023 overstated jobs by a whopping 405k!!

https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/initial-us-employment-reports-overstated-jobs.amp

As if this date 8.7 million hold two or more jobs because the economy is so bad they have to make ends meet! This has been going on for quite some time

The May job report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) showed a headline number of 272,000 payrolls added, and cheerleaders for the Biden administration were quick to extol this number. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ended for the labor market last month.

Households reported a stunning drop in employment by over 400,000. Another 400,000 people gave up and left the labor force entirely. The result was an increase in the unemployment rate to 4.0 percent. That raises an important question: Why are businesses reporting more payrolls while households are reporting fewer people employed?

Part of that answer is people having to get multiple jobs to make ends meet. The runaway inflation over the last several years has caused a cost-of-living crisis, requiring many workers to supplement their income with additional work. Every time a person gets a second (or even a third) job, that increases the number of payrolls, without increasing the number of people employed.

GOP uniformly opposed a COVID anti-price gouging bill.

That is your inflation. In fact...

A lot of those dollars "in the last 4 years" were Trump PPP dollars that vanished because they willfully ignored any oversight mechanisms.

The Biden dollars have literally gone into the hands of the working class and middle class via the Infrastrcuture bill, child tax credits and the CHIPs Act.
