I am the one that posted the guillotine question. Just came back to see what, if any, response had been put forth. I was serious about the question given the topic and I can't think of another option that is so sure and swift. Would there even be time for pain given the fact you severed the spinal column? I have read there is some reflex movement afterwards but haven't seen where anyone cried out in pain once the head was separated.

Personally I prefer life in prison laboring with the proceeds of said labor defraying the cost of confinement with funds also provided to a victims fund.

How about Trump's idea of the death penalty for the more egregious drug dealers? If the death penalty is legal, that is a group that truly should be executed given the destruction they cause.

Let us follow the example of countries like Malaysia. They make no bones about it: if you enter Malaysia as a drug dealer, you will hang and it does not matter where you are from. It seems to work there as a deterrent.
