BB testified Juliana did have her own phone and laptop. I just don't see Juliana doing all that, and it wouldn't explain her going to the range with him to learn shooting. She also said they arranged it so Brendan would do the catfishing at times Juliana wasn't home and Juliana would do it when Brendan wasn't home (but always with Christine home) to throw off investigators.

Just brainstorming. Both of them are guilty but what if the premeditation wasn’t as CW is presenting? I guess only they know the whole truth!

So if Juliana just wanted to do the catfish so Brendan walked in on it and then got in a fight with Christine? I don’t think that makes a lot of sense, if everyone was alive in this scenario for only a few more minutes, the other three would figure out what was going on and Brendan if he was a normal person would wonder why Juliana is so insane. Killing Joe and Christine was the only way anyone could attempt to pull this off since they either knew details of the communications (Juliana’s accent on the voice call) or knew they didn’t make them (Christine). I don’t see how Juliana could have had any reasonable degree of confidence they would both get killed by an unaware Brendan.

No, but I meant if her intention was to cause a fight but then BB ended up killing both CB and JR.

Okay. CW knew that for whatever reason they weren't going to get the testimony in what was said. She only had to ask the question and have the sidebar. There are 2 audio files and I bet that jury is doing what I just did.... play them over and over. And "Hang up" would certainly fit the beat.

That was my guess!!!!!! That it would have BB saying “hang up” or “disconnect” or something like that. But can you really hear something without running it through software? I’m not so sure CW expected to lose on that one, but the defense reaction definitely let the jury know whatever was on the tape was damaging.

It sounds like either 2 quick syllables or 2 percussive beats/sounds to this untrained ear. If it's "hang up" it seems quicker than natural speech patterns. My ear doesn't actually interpret it as human voice, but if the expert actually was able to establish that with technology then presumably hang up could fit.

Listening there and to what pp posted, I think there is definitely a male voice very separate and distinct from the sounds poor Joe was making, but I can’t understand it.

Does it matter what is said? BB probably made a sound or shook his head or gave her a bad look (or an “are you crazy???” look) because BB was mad that JPM called 911 when CB instructed her to do so.

Did she testify about the hang-ups? Sorry, I’m behind on videos.

Sort of, because Brendan is saying she was in the basement when she made that call. So if someone else other than a child is talking on it, then she wasn’t in the basement and he’s lying. What was said could also prove intent for Brendan beyond Juliana’s testimony.

She testified about it and said she called 911 the first time because when they burst in and Joe was shot Christine said to Juliana “call 911” and Juliana listened (for whatever reason, panic I guess maybe had second thoughts, boy I wish she had kept the audio running in her pocket since we know Christine was still alive more than 15min later).

She said Brendan either told and/or gestured to her to hang up but I remember her saying she wasn’t exactly sure what he said but he told her to hang up. So I guess she doesn’t know the exact words said on there either, or didn’t want to say (I think in this particular detail she actually didn’t know).

The defense sure wanted to keep it out. I could hear Joe and clearly what is another man’s voice. I believe the first 911 call was made in the bedroom with the 4 adults present, after Joe had been shot. The call re-affirms that. The 15 minute gap really sinks BB. And that bodycam footage showed him not using the towel, sheets or blankets to slow CB bleeding out. And at no time at house, in ambulance or at hospital did he mention CB’s blood clotting disorder.

It matters a lot. That is why the defense tried to claim the groaning was Lilly the dog in the basement with V and JPM when the first call was made. That first call, prompted by CB, not yet stabbed per JPM, was not part of “the plan” and it undermines even more of BB’s tale and credibility. If 1st call was made from bedroom there is no explaining the delay in summoning help other than the intent was for the victims to die.

Why don’t the 911 operators send cops out for a wellness check when they get a hang up like that? Is it on a case by case basis, depending on what resources are available?

You would not believe how many 911 hang up calls the police get. Go find an online scanner for the FCPD or your local police department and listen. Where I live, and I assume most places, they do a drive by if they get a hang up and then no answer when they call back.

If you accidentally call 911 and hang up, ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL BACK. If you do, they may not need to waste resources driving by your house. You would be stunned by how much time the police spend driving by houses where people called accidentally and then won't answer when called back. They won't be mad. They know people do this by accident.

You are the one that didn’t understand what I meant. I’m saying what if everything happened the way CW is saying, except that the whole set up was made by Juliana and the intention was not for all the murders to happen but to shake BB’s marriage so BB would think CB was cheating. That would explain why she called him and asked him to come home to see why a random guy was entering the house.
That’s why the whole thing looks so sloppy and why she was so lost in the process, like calling 911 before CB was dead. Maybe she saw BB shot JR and tried calling 911 at that time, but then BB started stabbing CB and she just let it happen. She then would have shot JR too.

Why wouldn’t she tell this story? Well, that would put more weight of what happened on her, she wouldn’t want to admit to that.

That would explain also why they didn’t hide their relationship after the facts. If BB was so careful about not leaving any trace behind, he would have never allowed her to post on Instagram before or after the murders.

It’s just a theory, not here to be attacked.
