WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN??? |
| I'm scared of bird mites so would never get a bird...same with other animals except for fish. |
Are you describing the victim or the perp? |
| I am opposed to reveal parties and sprinkles. |
Because folks are taking offense rather than just adding to and/or moving along. Stuff has been said here that applies to me, but I haven't found the need to "how dare you" anyone. |
|
I'm opposed to giving up all your own interests and aspirations and dreams just because you have kids.
Also opposed to getting a person to marry you and them turning into a fat, sexless ass who thinks your spouse only exists to help with the kids and bring in money. Goes for BOTH sexes. |
You're a little late for that particular party, buddy.
|
To be fair, it started out as a shit-wreck as well. |
| Oh I'm really opposed to the knee jerk "Something bad happened to this person, let's raise lots of money for them" reaction that goes on after every little thing now. Someone loses their home in a fire- sure, raise money. Someone's kid dies- very sad, but why exactly should I give them money or that? What does the money do for them in that situation? |
| I secretly oppose the fundraising for the Boston marathon victims. If they don't have insurance, that's one thing. But claiming that they need half a million dollars to pay medical bills and therapy bills and prosthetics, etc. Some of these folks don't even have kids or a family to support. I think it preys on people's vulnerabilities to ask for money at a time like that when most of those receiving the $ have medical insurance and likely disability, too. I don't see those same donors throwing fundraisers for families who they *know personally* who have a child born with special needs and will need lifelong care. Those families are usually lucky if they get a meal train. |
| I oppose large non-profit orgs. IME, they are corrupt and the mission gets muddled when too much money is involved. |
Oh yeah, I completely believe that the OP was not trolling by starting a post about "things I oppose, but don't say out loud" and include such mundane, non-controversial topics as adoption & interracial marriage. |

I never wear heels because they hurt. But what does that have to do with being aroused and ready for action? Do you grow taller when you are horny? |
