If true, it’s a good place for them to try to rebuild the program or stay in that league for a while.

Agreed. They can’t attract girls when teams are losing 10-0. This goes them a great opportunity to reset. And we have seen promotions from Aspire to GA so it is very feasible to make it back.

Brave 2.0 or Union or FVU is here to stay and remain competitive by sheer location and financial investment by motivated parents. NM needs to give it a rest and focuse on his rosters at GFR and BSC which is no joy ride, trust.

At what point though does ECNL hold FVU management accountable and change the leadership. Why does ECNL allow the level of incompetence to persist. If they want things to change, you kinda gotta make some changes. It won’t change itself.

When they feel there is a viable alternative in Fairfax. They aren’t going to just give up that market.
The only step I could see ECNL taking is to drop the boys program from ECNL.

You can still have FVU as an option and clean house. You don’t have to dismantle it to reform it.

Said the ringleader over at FVU.

FVU needs to come up with FVU RL to help with finances. Seems like they can’t afford showcases. Add that to the to poor boys program and you get a recipe for disaster. Just a matter of time before that ECNL program gets pulled off.

FVU is a disaster. The girls who went there this past year realize it, and the girls who are going there for next year will soon realize it. The boys have always been a disaster. Brave 2.0

100% agree. In VA there are 3 legitimate ECNL teams Arlington, VDA and RU. That Fairfax club only carries the badge and with MV, there 0 exposure. Just wait and see next year.

FVU is so cooked, their leadership is atrocious. They're just hanging on because they still have an ECNL badge (for now), but the same terrible foundation that was Brave.

No, they'll be fine. Once Arlington goes MLSN/GA next year, then there are only 2 ECNL clubs left in the area. VDA can't absorb everyone. FVU will be just fine. People have been predicting their demise for a long time. Much like a cockroach in a nuclear blast they will survive.

Trust me they won’t. Being an ECNL team that does not go to showcases is pointless. I better take my DD to a top GA team than trusting MV and co to get me exposure. Sorry.

Well that was expected.

Has anyone gotten an Aspire offer after last nights Loudoun ID sessions?

The concern is FVU’s incompetent technical staff does not know how to spot talent. Fact.

The truth always comes out form the whiners who got cut. FVU parent here not worried the least. Granted, at the end of the line with DD but she has gotten herself recruited to this point, not the club and as long as no one is trashing her from FVU technical staff there is little harm these clubs can really do. Finished in 6th and still traveling Seattle to be showcased during recruitment window. FVU has served their purpose, check! Sky certainly not falling, check!

The 2012 & 2013 teams seem real good

2013 yes run by CW. 2012 is kick and run style and is about to take a step back with the age group. Reclassification. VA will be run again by Arlington, VDA and RU + the NC teams

TSJ management have known this for weeks if not longer. Why would any family stay at this club. Even TSJ coaches are jumping ship and have landed at competitors.

I bet the final SYC session will be busy.

FVU still trains 3 time a week for 1:15 in a small field shared with Vienna?

2 teams train on an 11 v 11 field. The have shared Quantum with Vienna approximately five times that I can remember and it was only due to rescheduled or relocated one offs. If you are going to troll at least get your lies straight.
