Good. We don't need another chain restaurant in Chinatown.

I work in Chinatown and cannot believe the decline. It’s a shame because it used to be great around here.

When I first moved to DC, hipster teens would hang out in Chinatown - remember that?

I do.

I also used to work in Chinatown, it got overrun with people openly dealing, shooting up on the sidewalk, agressively panhandling or engaging in acts of violence, etc. Shame, And almost all Chinese businesses are gone.

It's so funny to me that he is such a Muppet that no one on the left or right likes him, but then he keeps getting reelected.

That he does.

This made me laugh, not sure they are incorrect...

DCJL Wokespeak for a thug who has been arrested, is facing trial or is convicted. Of course, the victim is also “justice involved” in a particularly involuntary way.

It's a way of turning violent felons into the real victims here.

Remember how the Council paused the vote on adding a murderer to the Sentencing Commission, Mendo's appointee, due to public outcry? After USAO Graves had asked them to "stop the revolving door" and send a message with their appointment?

So, this is one of the additions to Pinto's bill. Probably by The Sentencing Project, a NGO the killer is affiliated with, who ALREADY have one rep on the Commission, pushing a decarceral agenda.

Is this what Mendo was trying to deflect from? These people are SNAKES.
