War with Iran

In the 2000s and 2010s, you had to “support the troops”

Everyone had to have those ridiculous yellow ribbon magnets on the back of their cars

Fast forward to today and a plurality if not majority of Americans will be rooting for the American military to lose.

😂

The only people "rooting for the American military to lose" are psychopaths. You can disagree with the war, but to actively hope the U.S. loses is some kind of crazy.

I don't want the US to my lose. I want the US to pull back NOW before it loses worse.

He demanded an end to the bombardment of Beirut, describing the situation as a "holocaust" and calling it a "frustrating experience," says the New York Times.

The Reagan administration was initially divided on the 1982 invasion, but opposition grew as civilian casualties mounted, says the Office of the Historian.

According to Time Magazine , Israeli leadership, particularly Prime Minister Begin, was furious over U.S. pressure and continued its actions despite American disapproval, including building new settlements.

Reagan sucked. Such a bigot.

He was pro America. He was not a puppet of Russia or Israel like Trump

He was puppet installed to destroy government. His platform was pro rich & white. He hated government because it was improving the lives of Blacks, gays and other people he deemed unworthy.

No, that would be Bill Clinton.

Reagan didn’t pass any bills to harm gay or black people but bill Clinton did.
Bill Clinton is the president who destroyed America. NAFTA passed under Clinton. Three strikes law passed under Clinton. Glass steagall repeal passed under Clinton. All the jobs shipped to China and the rise of Walmart can be linked to Clinton. Mom and pop shops are no more. Corporations and monopolies rose under Clinton. Welfare reform passed making poor people even poorer.

He actually did more Republican things than Reagan and both Bushes combined. He was the part of the Republican lite “centrist” corporate Democrat and Obama hired all his flunkies for his administration continuing the trend

Considering the Taliban killed our troops on the last day of the 20 year war in Afghanistan and then held a parade in Kabul with the stolen Us equipment taken from our transitional “Afghan government”, what do you expect us to feel? I think our withdrawal was almost as bad the Soviet Union literally going bankrupt thanks to Afghanistan. Regime change does not work. We should save ourselves the trouble and the money of a pointless decade long adventure in the Middle East especially one committed on behalf of a so called friend

If you have a bit of dark sense of humor and an interest in the art of temperance, please watch this. Its actually enlightening. Israel will continue on its socio-path until eventually it will assisted suicide itself.

One thing of note is that the Israeli guy, Yakov Amidror, says that Israel can hold out for another 6 weeks against the missiles and then... "who knows?" he says.

Fingers crossed for week 7.

‘The Plan Is Greater Israel!’ Pakistani Senator & Israeli General CLASH Over Iran War Peace Plan

Well, to be fair, Ehud Barak who is no dove said the right wingers like Netanyahu will destroy Israel entirely before anyone else can. He’s right. This is exactly most Israelis took to the streets throughout summer and fall 2023 to protest the new right wing government of Netanyahu trying to overtake their Supreme Court and judicial system so he doesn’t go to jail. The right wing (in any nation) is always the most dangerous element partly because they believe that Armageddon is near and that sabotage and destruction is a-Ok because it’s serving Gods greater purpose

You’re spreading fake information. The USS Gerald R. Ford didn’t “fail” or get pushed out. It was deployed for over 260 days, far beyond the typical 6 to 7 month carrier deployment, and is now returning for scheduled maintenance and crew reset.

That’s normal. What you’re leaving out is that other carriers are already in place or deploying to maintain presence. The USS Abraham Lincoln is already operating in the region, and the USS George H.W. Bush has been preparing to deploy specifically to relieve the Ford.

This is how carrier rotations work. One rotates out after an extended deployment, another rotates in. Continuous coverage is maintained the entire time.

Calling that a failure just shows you don’t understand basic Navy operations.

DP. You have absolutely no understanding of how fleet rotations works and no understanding of naval operations. Those carrier groups are being pulled from other theaters of operations(pacific) and being redeployed without normal refit and personnel leave. Deployments are 9 months plus. The Ford is out for over year.

Republicans are abandoning theaters of operations for Israel. Seeding the Pacific and all of Asia to the Chinese.

What a total and complete defeat for the US. This is setting the stage for the next 80 years. 13 US bases in the Middle East are non operational.

🏴‍☠️ Trump: Iran hit the Ford from 17 angles. We ran to save our asses.

“They came at the biggest carrier in the world from 17 directions. We ran. End of story.”

While the Pentagon was busy making up shit about a “laundry fire,” Trump just told the truth: Iran smoked the USS Gerald Ford. And instead of standing their ground, they tucked tail and ran.

The world’s mightiest navy, everyone. Scared off by a laundry fire. Right.

#Iran #USSGeraldFord #Trump #Pentagon

Got a link for Trump saying that? I heard it was internal sabotage. Some crew getting antsy and staging a mini mutiny over the over-long deployment and lack of rotation, not being able to get home to see their families.

DP. The carrier was not hit by Iran. The PP is spreading disinformation, as usual.

The Ford, America's newest and the world's largest carrier, was operating in the Red Sea in support of Operation Epic Fury when a non-combat fire broke out in its main laundry room on March 12, injuring three sailors.

Nearly 200 sailors were also treated for smoke-related issues, a U.S. official said at the time. The fire took hours to bring under control and had an impact on roughly 100 sleeping berths.

So what the hell is Trump babbling about in his speech to the Saudis last night?

What a load of BS. Does not match reality. 13 US bases in the region are inoperable. Iranian missiles have the capabilities to inflict serious harm to US and Israel and have done so. The US will be forced to abandon the region because they can not maintain bases is any type of effective operational way.

Murtazashvili is a professor at the University of Pittsburgh and is co-chair of the university’s new antisemitic working group. Just more Zionist propaganda.

Seriously settlers on the border with Lebanon are abandoning their settlements. The IDF are losing tanks and getting their a$$ kicked in on the ground and Iran put two ballistic missiles within 500 ft of Shimon Peres Negev as a warning.

The “professor” should keep to what she knows best attacking students who criticize Israel.

Are you a member of the anonymous antisemitic group Steel City Antifascist League — which has a history of publishing antisemitic and anti-Zionist posts and calls for violence? Because they harassed her and her family in Pittsburgh. Sorry you hate Jewish people so much. This woman is a distinguished professor of economics and political science. You are... not.

No one is rooting for the US military to lose. You are deliberately confusing opposition to a dumb war with opposition to the military.

This. Before we did this Iran’s control of the strait was only theoretical. Now we’ve given them the equivalent of a nuclear weapon with which they can hold the global economy hostage. Great work everyone.

Oh and btw we’re not pulling back. Just completely asinine.

All true. Perfectly describes this site, for just one example. Tons of propaganda, unsourced garbage, and questionable videos, all in service of supporting a narrative.

Stop the presses!!! A zionist jew lying for the state of Israel. Never thought that could happen. Another zionist jews proving it's all true.

https://www.reversecanarymission.org/person/jennifer-brick-murtazashilli
Jennifer Brick Murtazashvili, professor at the University of Pittsburgh and Fulbright scholar at Tel Aviv University, echoes Zionist narratives by framing anti-genocide protests as antisemitic, researches alliances shielding Israel's illegal ethnostate, occupation and genocide.

- Murtazashvili has consistently weaponized accusations of antisemitism to silence dissent against Israel's actions.
- She has portrayed pro-Palestinian campus activism as inherently hateful
- Murtazashvili defends Israel's settler-colonial project by praising expansions
- She criticizes humanitarian aid to Gaza
- She has built a track record of using her academic position to push a fixed political agenda
- Etc

The US and Israel are walking us to a nuclear war. Our leadership is incompetent idiots who either do not care or do not understand what they are doing. The world’s economy is heading for a total collapse and the US/Israel are planning for nuclear weapons strikes.

Does anyone believe Bibi or Trump would not use nuclear weapons against Iran for any reason?

Hopefully they’re both smart enough to realize they’re definitely going to jail if they do that

But war is good business.
Someone has to make the 100million drones and expensive intercepter missiles and easy budget for the pentagon.
It seems it is easy to get billions of dollars under the government mattress.
