Government gives IDF permission to summon up to 400,000 reservists amid Iran, Hezbollah wars

ilitary Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir reportedly warned the “IDF is going to collapse in on itself” during a security cabinet meeting this week, as the army deals with mounting operational demands and a deepening manpower shortage.

“I am raising 10 red flags in front of you,” Zamir told ministers, according to a Channel 13 news report on Thursday.

“Right now, the IDF needs a conscription law, a reserve duty law, and a law to extend mandatory service,” he was quoted as saying. “Before long, the IDF will not be ready for its routine missions and the reserve system will not last.”

Their collapse would be a good thing to come out of this war of choice. Likely Netanyahu's collapse at the election.

He would use nuclear weapons before he would willingly leave office. Trump could declare victory, leave the Middle East(US bases and military gone) and the MSM would spin in a great light for Trump. Trump would have to remove sanctions from Iran and abandon Israel. His base will go alone with anything he says and kicking Israel to the curb would make them very happy.

This is the only way out of this.

Netanyahu may meet the same fate as Rabin.

It’s a problem, I get it. We don’t want Iran to have any friends and allies. It’s to our benefit for them to be isolated. However, y’all crazy as heck. The USA gave Ukraine not only satellite Russian locations, intelligence, but actual weapons to kill Russians. So I’m literally at a WTF moment of what do you think the Russians were going to do when given the opportunity to repay the gestures in kind.

In the 2000s and 2010s, you had to “support the troops”

Everyone had to have those ridiculous yellow ribbon magnets on the back of their cars

Fast forward to today and a plurality if not majority of Americans will be rooting for the American military to lose.

😂

No one is rooting for the US military to lose. You are deliberately confusing opposition to a dumb war with opposition to the military.

This thread is absolutely filled with American citizens (not bots) with fever dreams of US military failure to “own the Donald.”

Sorry he sucks so much.

According to Time Magazine , Israeli leadership, particularly Prime Minister Begin, was furious over U.S. pressure and continued its actions despite American disapproval, including building new settlements.

Reagan sucked. Such a bigot.

He was pro America. He was not a puppet of Russia or Israel like Trump

He was puppet installed to destroy government. His platform was pro rich & white. He hated government because it was improving the lives of Blacks, gays and other people he deemed unworthy.

It's interesting to see all the Iranian propaganda - and even more interesting to see people cheering them on. You don't have to be a fan of Israel to know that Iran is a dangerous, oppressive, fanatical regime. But sure, keep rooting for them.

Israel is an anti-democratic, illiberal ethnostate that has been genocidal. It’s also been a liability for America, wasting taxpayers’ money on its already wealthy citizens. Watching the Iranians smash that enemy of humanity is exquisite!

Ok. At least you're not hiding your support of a murderous, fanatical regime led by men in dresses who hate women and gay people. Hooray!! I definitely want to be on your side.

DP that is Israel. Mobs of men chasing women soldiers through the streets.

Sure, whatever you say. Let's recall that in Iran, they prefer to hang people - women as well as men.

Both countries have scads of human rights violations. Only Israel does genocide and aggressively bombs multiple countries in place of diplomacy.

Israel is getting its nose bloodied because it finally started a fight it couldn’t win. Bullies getting the sh-t kicked out of them is always entertaining!

Israel is a radical fundamentalist religious state. They hate gays and women.

True. It’s also, of all nations since the end of WWII, the closest state to the awfulness of Nazi Germany.

Now describe Iran, a terrorist state that arrests its own people and executes them if they dare to question the regime. Sounds a lot closer to Nazi Germany than Israel.

OMG this Israeli jew is insane. Not sure how the Pakistani senator and Brandon Weichert were able to amicably sit though this verbal diarrhea. There's no wonder why no one can get a deal done with Israel because they clearly just make shit up and spend hours defending it.

If you have a bit of dark sense of humor and an interest in the art of temperance, please watch this. Its actually enlightening. Israel will continue on its socio-path until eventually it will assisted suicide itself.

One thing of note is that the Israeli guy, Yakov Amidror, says that Israel can hold out for another 6 weeks against the missiles and then... "who knows?" he says.

Fingers crossed for week 7.

You’re spreading fake information. The USS Gerald R. Ford didn’t “fail” or get pushed out. It was deployed for over 260 days, far beyond the typical 6 to 7 month carrier deployment, and is now returning for scheduled maintenance and crew reset.

That’s normal. What you’re leaving out is that other carriers are already in place or deploying to maintain presence. The USS Abraham Lincoln is already operating in the region, and the USS George H.W. Bush has been preparing to deploy specifically to relieve the Ford.

This is how carrier rotations work. One rotates out after an extended deployment, another rotates in. Continuous coverage is maintained the entire time.

Calling that a failure just shows you don’t understand basic Navy operations.

DP. You have absolutely no understanding of how fleet rotations works and no understanding of naval operations. Those carrier groups are being pulled from other theaters of operations(pacific) and being redeployed without normal refit and personnel leave. Deployments are 9 months plus. The Ford is out for over year.

Republicans are abandoning theaters of operations for Israel. Seeding the Pacific and all of Asia to the Chinese.

What a total and complete defeat for the US. This is setting the stage for the next 80 years. 13 US bases in the Middle East are non operational.

🏴‍☠️ Trump: Iran hit the Ford from 17 angles. We ran to save our asses.

“They came at the biggest carrier in the world from 17 directions. We ran. End of story.”

While the Pentagon was busy making up shit about a “laundry fire,” Trump just told the truth: Iran smoked the USS Gerald Ford. And instead of standing their ground, they tucked tail and ran.

The world’s mightiest navy, everyone. Scared off by a laundry fire. Right.

You know this is a social media rumor / conspiracy theory, right? And you clearly have no problem continuing to spread it. What's your source?

Got a link for Trump saying that? I heard it was internal sabotage. Some crew getting antsy and staging a mini mutiny over the over-long deployment and lack of rotation, not being able to get home to see their families.

DP. The carrier was not hit by Iran. The PP is spreading disinformation, as usual.

The Ford, America's newest and the world's largest carrier, was operating in the Red Sea in support of Operation Epic Fury when a non-combat fire broke out in its main laundry room on March 12, injuring three sailors.

Nearly 200 sailors were also treated for smoke-related issues, a U.S. official said at the time. The fire took hours to bring under control and had an impact on roughly 100 sleeping berths.

The world is truly upside down! The Washington Post has published a brilliant article, written by, get this, a professor! To give you some flavor, here are a few choice lines by
@jmurtazashvili
:

1) "We are living through the first alt-war: a conflict in which the war fought online and the war fought in reality have diverged so completely that they might as well be happening on different planets. It’s not that people lack information, it’s more that they are constructing an entirely different alternate reality — one that confirms what they already believe."

2) "What worries me more than the fake videos are the people who cannot fathom that this war is going well for the United States, for Israel and maybe even for the long-suffering people of Iran. The strategic picture is more favorable than the online narrative suggests."

3) "Two weeks into the war, I watch otherwise reasonable analysts sprint to catastrophe. Former officials, thinktank scholars, credentialed professionals who are supposed to know how to read a conflict. Within days they had written the obituary: quagmire, overreach, disaster."

4) "The liberal internationalist left and the isolationist right — two camps that have agreed on almost nothing for decades — have suddenly found themselves in lockstep, racing to declare the war a failure before it had barely begun. This is the new blob: not the old foreign-policy establishment that the term originally described but a new amalgamation that has arrived at the same conclusion from opposite directions. Together they are the most powerful engine of the alt-war."

The truth. In the mainstream media. By a professor. And written well. Four things I thought I'd never see again in my lifetime.

+1
All true. Perfectly describes this site, for just one example. Tons of propaganda, unsourced garbage, and questionable videos, all in service of supporting a narrative.

Just because he’s a professor doesn’t mean he’s right.
