End of January - any sex yet?

I had a New Year's resolution, sadly not shared by my DH, of having sex twice a week. It hasn't worked out that way. Here are my stats, please share yours.

Age- 43 female
Married - 15 years
Kids -3
Sex since January 1st - 3 times
Satisfaction level: better than none but I'm in my prime, I'm fit and I'm adventuresome.

I've lost count of how many times we've had sex since the first of January, and I've had pneumonia most of the month. I dislike going more than a couple of days without it. Female. Almost 46. Husband is 50. We have a lot of fun together.

You should let him in on your resolution OP, he may be more willing than you think. Or if he's been totally unwilling for a long time, 2 times a week isn't a realistic goal right now, so don't set both of you up for failure.

She didn't say she didn't let him in on the resolution--only that he didn't share it. Perhaps he knew about it but just wasn't game.

Between DH and I we were out of commission for about 2.5 weeks. But 6 times despite that.

For those of us half your age who have half the sex you do, you are an inspiration. On the other hand you're my mother's age and there is no way I can envision my parents having sex 5 or 6 times a year if ever.
