After the first few goals, looked like Saints defense really settled in and made it tough for SJC to get anything clean-- shots felt rushed, off, and weaker than i've seen. On the SSSA side, honestly didn’t see a weak link on offense. They looked way more connected than I remember last year, moving the ball well and not playing hero ball. Not sure exactly who the underclassmen were, but they’ve definitely got depth.

This season, the spotlight is on the Saints underclassmen—talented young players who are stepping up after some members didn't meet expectations last year. With key personnel changes made during the offseason, they're now headed in the right direction, thanks to their new teammates taking the lead.

Is this for real? The new teammates are taking the lead? And finally they are headed in the right direction? There are only a handful of new teammates, and all but one returning player is committed. Let me guess…you’re a parent of a “new teammate”?

New mom isn’t very subtle is she!

Duh - She's been commenting here for the last 5 days about how great an addition her child is pretending to be different posters.

This is so pathetic. And everyone knows who she is.

Transparent and embarrassing. Truly.

Don't indulge the TROLLS! Be wary of the sudden surge of high schoolers... Trolls seem to be having a field day in this area, so get ready and resist the urge to engage with any hostile, pessimistic, or peculiar posts. The lenient parents from these schools all seem to know each other and would never participate in such actions, ideas, or comments seriously. Dear high schooler please Focus on hitting the books and maintaining your grades instead of hanging around and trolling on this thread.

Yes, the high school bench warmers or weirdly jealous trolls are infesting this thread so do not feed them please....

SSSAS is quite good. Collegiate lost commits to graduation.

SSSAS is missing their entire starting offense from last season to injury. Collegiate struggled all game getting out of their own defensive zone. Kudos to the ladies playing - Next Women Up!

Collegiate’s drop off really highlights how good their Florida commit was.

Close game? What stood out? Offense/Defense? do they have any big committs?

The Saints aren’t exactly hurting on offense, not this year and not over the last 3 years. They’ve still got two talented, experienced seniors on the field—both legit Inside Lacrosse 4-stars—who control the circle and rarely come off the field. These aren’t new faces either; both have been playing varsity since they were freshmen, and it shows in how they carry themselves.

The Denver draw specialist stood out—quick, composed, and effective. That’s not easy to replace, but they’re not falling off on offense at all despite the missing seniors.

What’s really moved the needle are the two additions. The Yorktown transfer brings a strong shot and can pass well. The Bates commit plays the game the right way—head up, moves the ball, finds cutters, and doesn’t hesitate when there’s an opportunity.

Bottom line: this isn’t a team trying to figure out offense —they’ve still got experience, depth, and now a couple of new additions that fit right in.

Meant as a compliment to the offense today, putting 16 on the board and terrorizing collegiate on the transition.

Totally agree with what you said.

Both middle to bottom tier teams with a couple good players on each squad.

I can hardly believe you didn't learn from yesterday and ended up offending both Holton and Bullis today. It looks like our girls will be meeting you on the field soon. Let this serve as a warning—no one else should repeat this mistake, or there will be more trips to the field.

Are the Penn twins playing this year? Surprised they were missing from your offense analysis.
