AM workout at home -- what do you do?

I am a mom with 2 young kids and work FT. I want to start going a workout each morning before everyone gets up.

Where can I find the bestcardio- kick boxing/old fashioned aerobics videos for free? I just want to sweat and get heart rate up!

I do a rotation of old Firm Classics tapes, the original ones before they got fancy.

Any you tube or on demand go to's?

I like HASfit on YouTube. It's a couple with and the videos are very low key / dorky, which I like: he does the harder version and she does a modified version if you aren't quite up to it. They are not too fast, either.

Good luck OP!

I have a pinterest board with different "workouts" - each one takes about 20-30 min. Mostly they're HIIT.

Forget Youtube, or all "apps" and foolishness... Wake up in the morning, put some music, start by stretching - hold each pose for at least 20 secs. "Listen" to your body - it will tell you what is "tight" or "weak." Work on that part.

If you haven't exercised in a while, you need to strengthen your body. Now Youtube "body weight exercises."

Two more points - find a magazine with toned bodies and mark an important (for you) event on the calendar (a hot date, a reunion, big meeting, etc.) These two are for motivation, which will help you stay focused. Good luck.

Beachbody on Demand (not the crap you pay for - it's like $130 a year, google membership). It's streaming and has exactly what you want - P90X, Insanity, etc.

This will work if you're 60.

I'm usually up around 5:30 am and by 6:00 am I'm in the basement hitting my daily program - lift weights (I bought a power rack and use free weights) or cardio machine (when I don't lift), sit ups, planks, lunges, and other stretching exercises.

I'm usually done in about an hour - get breakfast ready for the family, see the wife and kids off to work/school respectively and then shower and head to the office.
