What is your take on the Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt divorce saga? What happened on the plane?

They weren't toddlers and the oldest was able to decide. Zahara was still using his name last year. She only changed it publicly recently after she turned 18. She was still using it on her legal documents at her sorority event though. Up until now tabloids had said she was close to him. No one knows how they feel or why they rather keep their distance from. They are still close with his family, especially Pax, so I doubt they're against him like that. |

Excuses. Brad already took blame for the divorce. He's lost control and should have gotten help before it got to that point. He was a nasty drunk and she should have left sooner as it sounds like it wasnt the first time the kids were verbally targeted. |

Agree with this. So sick of the victim blaming! I don't doubt she was hard to live with, but she did not deserve abuse, and neither did the kids! Speaking of which, he's turning 60. No mention of spending time with his kids this week. Honestly I don't know whether to feel sorry for him or not. The fact that he wouldn't pay her well for her half of the French estate, without an NDA, does make him look like a controlling @sshole. And his much-younger girlfriends, blech. His kids are old enough to have opinions on his parenting, and on how he's treated their mom since the split. Not surprising they're loyal to her, since she's now been the primary for most of their lives. Did she alienate a guy who was well-meaning once he was in recovery or does he deserve it? Who knows, but what little we know makes me not like him too much. |

Yeah, just based in his own interviews he was a terrible and angry drunk. Now the kids are confirming it in their own way. I bet he doesn't remember half the stuff he said to them when inebriated and even worst doesn't want to remember. I don't think he's sees them very much either but at least the kids have a relationship with his family. His gf choice is odd though. She smokes and drinks quite a bit which is bit worrying. I think people were expecting him to go the clooney route. |

You'd think he'd have gone out of his way to be generous toward Jolie, to atone for his misdeeds. She's looked pretty frail and unwell since the split, still does even seven years later. I think he did a number on her. Just like he did a number on Jennifer Aniston, who didn't seem too well for a while after their split. Whether or not you think Jolie had some karma coming for her role in humiliating JA, the fact remains that the women always get the sh*t, while the man coasts. But not with his own kids. Maybe that's deserved. |

If the problem was just his drinking then they would have reconciled after he got sober. The drinking is just an excuse.
Almost every situation like this the fault is 50/50. But the parent alienation she has done is not deserved. |
