They seem like nice kids but, other than Zahara, oddballs without much normality in their lives. It would have been far healthier for them to have good relationships with both parents, and with Pitt's "normal" extended family but she didn't want that and of course the kids are loyal to her. I do think she's always put her own needs and wants first, which is a shame. Not that Pitt can't be a selfish a-hole, just that he had the more reasonable parenting philosophy of the two. You cannot honestly think that this was a one and done event. Nobody escalates to that level on one event. It's a buildup. His plan was pretty shocking; from day 1, he wanted them to go to school. And to have a bedtime. Crazy, isn't it? The first part happened after the divorce. He finally got his wish for the children. When the judge forced it

They had radically different parenting philosophies. He wanted them to have rules and more normal lives. Unfortunately she got her way. They seem like nice kids but, other than Zahara, oddballs without much normality in their lives. It would have been far healthier for them to have good relationships with both parents, and with Pitt's "normal" extended family but she didn't want that and of course the kids are loyal to her. I do think she's always put her own needs and wants first, which is a shame. Not that Pitt can't be a selfish a-hole, just that he had the more reasonable parenting philosophy of the two. I don't think he should be judged by one godawful day when he lost it and was at his lowest as an alcoholic who needed treatment.

You cannot honestly think that this was a one and done event. Nobody escalates to that level on one event. It's a buildup. It was more like this event was the straw that broke the camel's back, and she said enough. Also, Angelina was not the person who originally reported the event to the police. According to the FBI investigator, it was a third-party on the plane who made the original report.

He had been drinking heavily for awhile. This wasn't a one time thing and explains why the kids don't mess with him

Sounds like you have an accountability problem. Pax is 21 years old. Not wearing a helmet is on him. That's a consequence for thinking you're fearless. The kids not talking to Brad is a consequence for being abusive.
