It will be counted as one case. Dumb question.

18 Notre Dame faculty went to Coney Barrett’s “off campus party” and are now awaiting testing.

Nobody is contact tracing where any of these cases go--who they infect etc. I work at a university with low cases--we don't track a single person off-campus even though there are far more there and we don't contact trace anyone who is not residing on our campus. So 70000 cases may not harm the students, but they are likely launching many spikes around the country and we lack any kind of tracing program to even know let alone mitigate.

Didn't realize that Penn State had so many cases! Didn't one student die over the summer? That isn't included in this chart.

And Appalachian State had a death. And many schools are not tracking hospitalizations. Virginia public schools have had several already.

Maybe he could be the next governor of Virginia? Northam seems to follow that mantra too.

200 students are asking Father Jenkins to resign. He's apologizing for demonstrating poor judgment. Backpedaling fast. https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2020/10/05/reverend-john-jenkins-u-notre-dame-president-has-covid-19

Hey you found the quack who is pushing the weird treatment that Trump promoted before he caught covid. Odd that Trump didn’t take the drug now that he has covid.

what is not included are the kids who purposely go off campus to get tested so they don't screw things up for the school.

They do get tested off campus, but according to my cousin it’s not to necessarily to save the school, it’s bc they want less waiting time. Where he goes, there was a significant outbreak. His friends told him they had to wait in their cars in incredibly long lines. My cousin and his roommates said screw that and went to a CVS, where they hardly had to wait at all. Then of course they told all their friends who hadn’t been tested yet. So they went to a cvs too.

Anyone who tested positive of course was supposed to report it to the school. My cousin and his roommates were negative,
Have no idea whether any of his friends have and if they reported it. I’m certain he didn’t ask and just assumed his friends would tell him if he had to worry.
