You realize Ric Grennell is guilty of the same FARA crimes that others are, right? And maybe you know, but are okay with the idea that Grennell has been illegally representing Russian stooge Orban in Hungary, right? Maybe he has a vested interest that is contrary to the traditional American interests. But I am sure you knew that but are somehow okay with it.

In 2016, Grenell's company earned more than $100,000 from the Magyar Foundation, which is almost entirely funded by the Hungarian government, according to federal records. His work for Hungary was first flagged by the Quincy Institute, a foreign policy think tank.
Trump has grown close to Hungary's far-right Prime Minister Viktor Orban and invited him to the White House last year. The foundation is based in the US and its filings with the Internal Revenue Service indicate that Grenell's company was paid for "public relations."

Making false statements. That is a different charge than perjury. He was not under oath during the interview, thus, no perjury charge.

The prosecutors who ultimately charged Flynn with false statements had plenty of opportunities to charge him with these crimes that your allege. They didn't. And no, I'm sorry, they didn't trade those off for a false statements charge (which would have been incomprehensible to do, given the very serious nature of these supposed other crimes he committed). Even if they did somehow agree to not charge him with those crimes, they would have to disclose them in the plea deal.

Those were Flynn's deals, not Trump's. The prosecutors were only interested in what Flynn could tell them about Trump. Which was nothing. They wanted to know that the president wasn't working with any other countries against the US. Flynn didn't/couldn't tell them one way or the other.

Since he didn't actually provide any cooperation, he wanted a delay in sentencing to have something good to show the judge to justify his low sentencing recommendation. He never did.
