And spent hours in an unfamiliar house with the family sleeping upstairs, including washing and re-dressing the child's body? |
He's a tad bit on the spectrum- it is apparent even during his interview as a child. However, Dr. Phil has got to be the worst crime or person interviewer ever. Leading questions, ridiculous questions of a man who was 9 years old at the time. " You wanted attention, right? Jon Benet wanted all the attention at the time..." What an ass. |
Was the body wiped down or washed? That could be a clue-- wipes down could be baby wipes vs. the need to bathe the child. Bathing would make noise and require a tub/ showerand time. |
I think she was just wiped down with a cloth in the vaginal area, not that her whole body was bathed. Wiping down would likely have been done by an intruder to remove DNA vs the family. |
Huh? It would likely have been done by anyone attempting to hide sexual assault. |
This. His mannerisms are very much the mannerisms of a man with Asperger's syndrome. His behavior at the time is, too. My son is on the spectrum and he would hide in his room if something like that happened. It would be scary to him and he wouldn't know how to act, so he would hide in his room. |
There's not motive for the family to kill the girl, especially not in this manner. The MO doesn't really match how most mothers murder their kids (drowning, poison). Burke wasn't big enough to do that to his sister. John Ramsay might have done it, but there is no evidence that points to him doing it, just speculation. Santa Claus is a weird guy with a weird background. He was a neighbor and could have obtained information about John Ramsay's bonus that way. The wife's play about sexually assaulting a minor girl in a basement and their daughter's own kidnapping and sexual assault (with no suspect ever arrested) is much too similar to what happened in the Ramsay home. He was familiar with the Ramsay's home and was friendly with them. He had lots of time to plan what to do and how to do it and to estimate how much time he would have to do it. Lots of sexual predators who are not family members kill the children they assault to keep them from testifying. It's that guy. |
Right. And since her family didn't sexually assault her, it would've been an intruder. I'm leaning towards Santa. He had the opportunity, he knew the house, he told JB to expect something, and he was creepy. Regarding the pineapple, it's seems strange but I think Santa could've let JB eat some pineapple that was left out on the kitchen table that night. I'm not sure why the Ramsey's would lie about her eating pineapple. Why not just say, 'yes, she had some when she got home and then went to bed.' Why cover that up? I think they truly don't know how she ate it. Would there be a chance JB could've woken up in the middle of the night, went downstairs and ate it? Then the intruder came up and found her in the kitchen and forced her to the basement? I don't know. My kids sometime roam the house at night and have even been known to eat on occasion so don't think it's out of the question. |
Yeah - I cannot watch Dr. Phil. Ever. He's horrible. |
Santa guy had recently had open heart surgery. The police ruled him out didn't they?
I'm just not sure that he was even physically capable of doing this. |
Plus this was all quiet enough not to wake anybody? Really preposterous. |
In addition to possibly being on the spectrum. He's had a difficult life. Losing his younger sister to a brutal crime as a child. His family never being quite the same after that. Him and his parents being accused of the murders. Losing his mom to cancer. All of that would do a number on a person's "normal" response meter. |
Can you explain why you think so? The only explanations I've heard are her parents are rich and the crime is so horrible they couldn't have. |
I thought they did scream tests and you can't hear anything from the basement in the MBR. But there is an exhaust vent or something that directs toward a neighbor, a neighbor who did hear screaming. |
I wondered if he might be on the spectrum. |
