Has this been discussed yet? What is it with authoritarian regimes (US, Israel) wanting to send undesirables to South Sudan?! Is South Sudan the new El Salvador?
Israel in talks to resettle Gaza Palestinians in South Sudan https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israel-talks-resettle-gaza-palestinians-south-sudan-sources-say-2025-08-15/ |
Nobody cares where Palestinians end up, as long as they're far enough away to be unable to cause havoc in Israel or in other ME countries which want stable, peaceful societies. Sudan would be fine, as would be any one of the many authoritarian Islamist regimes which exist globally where the Palestinians should feel right at home. |
If the United States expresses its support for something, what then, does that mean? |
Hamas is offering to release all the hostages? Really? Who knew. |
Nice try. Palestinians will not cede their land to Israel. There is no magic man in the sky who promised the jewish people that they can take whatever they want, and kill anyone who tries to stop them. If Zionists want a Jewish homeland, they’re free to pack it up and find an unoccupied territory. |
I guess what applies here is the theory I apply to everything going on today; I just apply the Let Them theory, based on the book by Mel Robbins You should try it too |
Who "gave" the land to the Palestinians? Nobody, of course. If they want a state of their own, they should ask the U.N. for one. Oh, wait. The U.N. offered them one in 1947, and the Palestinian response was violent attacks on Israel. Oh, well. No second chances. |
DP. Pretty certain that Israel is the Jewish people’s ancestral homeland. |
Meanwhile, next to no one can actually trace their ancestry to Israel. And even if they could... so what? Truly, so the hell what? Should all of us now be entitled to recoup land from our ancestors thousands of years ago? Because that is truly and completely insane. I add my own ancestral lands to that list - it's unconscionable to think I have some "right" to land that someone else now lives on, because my ancestors from hundreds or thousands of years ago lived there. |
+1 |
I mean, again, it is the ancestral homeland of Jews. |
You mean, the Palestinians who converted. |

Gaza: Aid insufficient to avert ‘widespread starvation’ as Israeli military ramp-up forces more people to flee
https://news.un.org/en/story/2025/08/1165679 The risk of starvation is everywhere in Gaza,” UN Human Rights Office spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan told reporters in Geneva. “This is a direct result of the Israeli government's policy of blocking humanitarian aid,” he said. Mr. Al-Kheetan insisted that in the past few weeks, Israeli authorities have only allowed aid to enter in quantities that remain “far below what would be required to avert widespread starvation”. The UN said on Monday that hunger-related deaths continue to be reported in the Strip, including among children. |
DP What’s funny is you think god gave the land to these imports from Poland and Ukraine, while the actual biblical Jews who should be the ones making that fairytale claim are almost certainly the Palestinians you’re slaughtering right now in Gaza. The DNA testing certainly agrees. |
What does that mean? Are you even human? |
