Unvaxxed child in Texas just died of the measles

“Kennedy appears to be taking a victory lap. In an op-ed published yesterday in The Wall Street Journal, the health secretary excoriated the CDC he took over as dysfunctional and politicized. Now, he argues, thanks to his leadership, the CDC is on the right track. As evidence, he cited its response to the measles outbreak, which claimed the lives of two unvaccinated girls who were members of the same Mennonite church. “When measles flared this year in Texas, we brought vaccines, therapeutics and resources to the epicenter. The outbreak ended quickly, proving the CDC can act swiftly with precision when guided by science and freed from ideology,” Kennedy wrote. “That response was neither ‘pro-vax’ nor ‘antivax.’ It wasn’t distracted by ‘equity outcomes’ or politically correct language like ‘pregnant people.’ It was effective.”

Much of that is misleading. Far from ending quickly, the outbreak in West Texas lasted from January to August and fed a measles surge that spread to 41 states—the country’s worst since 1992. The CDC documented 1,431 cases nationwide, though health officials say many of those who contracted measles were never tested and therefore weren’t counted. More than 100 children and teenagers were hospitalized. As for the “swift” response, although the CDC did send researchers to the area in early March after the first death, a recent story published by KFF Health News documents early confusion and silence from the federal government. On February 5, the public-health director in Lubbock, Texas, wrote in an email, “My staff feels like we are out here all alone.”

That money has dwindled down the generations. When Joe Kennedy died, his estate was evenly divided by his surviving six or so children. That means John Kennedy received the same share as Robert Sr Kennedy. John only had two children, Caroline and John Jr, to divide his fortunes when he died. Additionally , John Sr widow, Jackie, remarried a billionaire and was twice widowed with 50 million dollars. In comparison, Robert Sr had eleven children to divide his fortune and his widow never married and lived well into her nineties.

I guess what I am saying is that some of the Kennedy’s are filthy rich, whereas others are just working middle class at this point on the tree branch. Robert Jr worked as an environmental attorney and used his connections to make money. And John Je left him 250k in his will when he died in that airplane crash in the early 90’s.

On top of everything else we are on the cusp of losing our elimination of measles status. Spiking in Minnesota right now. Still high in Texas, Arizona.

#winning

If outbreaks continue around the country until the end of January, the United States will lose its status of having had eliminated measles 25 years ago. This week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a total of 1,544 confirmed measles cases. Of those, just 21 cases were diagnosed in people visiting the U.S. from other countries.

All are more common with the actual illnesses than with the vaccines.

Why do you want to increase a child's risk of having these happen?

VAERS is useful. It's also an open bucket of everything anyone wants to report, including those with mental illnesses, low IQs, and conspiracy theorists, so it's only useful if you know how to use it.

Someone reported turning into the Hulk as a vaccine reaction, and that was in that open bucket, too.

It is insane how anti vaxxers have no understanding of risk and tradeoffs. Guess what’s higher likelihood of negative effects from the vaccine? The negative effects of the actual disease!

That typically happens when a few generations have passed. If they don’t contribute to the account then it starts to dwindle. The common thought is generational wealth hardly ever goes past three generations.
