Still wondering how the Lil Hoyas lost to Saint Christophers from Richmond. Either these four and five-star recruits are all hype by the beat IL writers, or the kids are quitting on the coaching staff. Prep very well could lose to Episcopal or even STA this Spring if they can't figure out the chemistry problems. IAC likely is coming down to Landon v Bullis.

Is there a stream for the SJC - St Anthony's game? I fully anticipate the Cadets will keep this game very close.

I bet prep would win 9 of 10 games against St. Christopher's.

You kids skipping class to troll your buddies on DCUM- let this be a reminder that you can lose on any given day if you don't focus.

GP defense is awful. Only got a few guys on offense. St Chris would win 9/10. That’s what happens with no culture. Maybe yall should call giblin back lolol

They need to get some reclassed transfers like they had when they were good.

The Syracuse football signee is a re-class transfer. This is his 5th year of high school. I'm sure there are a few other boarders who are in the same boat.

Latest USA Lacrosse HS National Top 25 Rankings:

I can't recall the MIAA being this loaded at the top. Six teams from one conference are in the Top 20, which is insane and speaks to the depth and rigors of league play (similar to WCAC hoops). Spalding, Calvert Hall, Loyola Blakefield, BL, McDonogh, and St. Pauls are all ranked in the Top 20. The only team I think is rather suspect on this list is BL - this is one of their weaker teams in recent years. I suspect they will drop off once league play kicks in.

The IAC has 2 teams on this list, Landon and Bullis.

As for the WCAC, both Gonzaga and SJC get honorable mention recognition.

St. Christopher's is legit. Faceoff is weak, but solid goalie, mids are very quick and attack is good. Where they beat both GP and SSSAS was in transition. More than half their goals were in transition against both as they have a very fast first midfield line.

Prep Dad - St Christophers is bad, they aren't known for lacrosse. They lost to the Potomac School last year. Prep is just BAD this year. No excuses.

Ouch. One year removed from a Potomac School loss. I wonder how a Giblin team would fare.

Prep could very well finish in 4th or 5th in the IAC this year. Absolutely pathetic for a school of their size to field a team as weak as this year with their facilities too.

Prep hasn’t lost to episcopal in decades, slow your horses down.

They are still likely a top 5 team in the DMV.

I’d take Prep over DM, PVI and GC this spring

I can see SJC as being deserving of HM. But GP and Gilman? Makes no sense.

No chance finishing bottom 3. Will still beat either Landon or Bullis in the season or in the playoffs.
